17:30 Chelsea v Newcastle

Chelsea

The Blues were battered in Paris three days ago and may look to take their frustration out on United. They have won twelve of the last fourteen home meetings, with no losses, in all competitions. United have a big match in Barcelona in three days' time and may have one eye on that.
15:00 Burnley v Bournemouth

Burnley

The Clarets drew the reverse fixture. A punt on a better result at Turf Moor. The Cherries have won only three away league fixtures this season.
15:00 Sunderland v Brighton

A race for longer-priced entries. Three of the last six winners had starting prices of 28/1 or higher. The Bolger yard have won this race twice in the last eleven runnings. Willie Mullins trained a big-priced outsider to win this race last year, so his lesser-fancied runners may be worth a glance. The horse won a maiden hurdle over two miles at Naas seven weeks ago on its debut for the yard. The third home won at the Festival on Tuesday. There could be more to come for the Mullins improver.

Selma De Vary

Daily Racing

Mullins has trained the winner in five of the last six runnings of the Triumph. Jockey Townend was on three of them, and he could have another with the French recruit. The horse was second to a useful stablemate on its juvenile hurdle debut in a Grade One at Leopardstown. With improvement to come, it can triumph today.

The Elliott runner has appeal in a race he has won twice. The horse won a Beginners' Chase at Naas three months ago. Respectable effort when fourth in a Grand National trial at Punchestown last time out and could well be a nice addition for a back-in-form yard.

Minella Emperor

Daily Racing

Three of the last four winners of this race obliged at odds of 25/1. With that in mind, a speculative wager on a runner that may be well handicapped is sensible. The horse made a good impression when finishing second of thirteen over three miles on good to soft ground in a qualifier at Haydock last time out. One pound higher mark, but the jockey claims seven.

With the Elliott yard back in the winners' circle earlier on today's card, it may be worth a punt in a race the trainer has won three times in the last eight runnings. The horse has its ground today and has won over the trip. It only went down by a neck in a qualifier last month on heavy ground. The going at the track is more favourable.

The horse has won Listed and Grade Two hurdle races this season. It could be on a good handicap mark as it reverts to fences. It won a Grade Two chase at Kempton last year and is one pound lower in the mark here. The trainer has won this race three times in the last nineteen runnings.

The horse was back to form in the Grade One Dublin Chase at Leopardstown last time, winning by nineteen lengths over two miles and one furlong. It will be tough to beat if it can reproduce that performance and repay punters for last year's disappointment in the Arkle.

One would have to forgive a disappointing effort at Leopardstown last time out. But given it is a runner from the Mullins yard, that is easy to do. The horse has won over today's trip. It placed third in a Grade Two at the Festival last year and could improve on that in an open race.

Willie Mullins has trained the winner of the Champion Hurdle five times. This horse has won at the Festival on its three previous visits. It lost its prep race at Leopardstown last month on heavy going, but on better ground at the track today it can bounce back.
14:00 2:00 Cheltenham

Lulamba

The horse is a perfect three-for-three, including a Grade One and a Grade Two. It was runner-up in the Triumph Hurdle at the Festival last year and could make amends in a race the trainer has won on five occasions in the last fourteen iterations.

Old Park Star

Daily Racing

The horse hasn't done anything wrong since joining the Henderson yard. It has won all three of its runs over hurdles, the latest by eighteen lengths in the Supreme Trial at Haydock eight weeks ago. Could be a star for a trainer who has won this race three times in the last ten runnings.
