Sure to be popular in the market, and with many bookmakers going extra places, the Expensive One is a good each-way price at 10/1 generally. Will strip fitter than most rivals after winning nicely on the 6th of October at Stratford, and although runs under a penalty, the jockey booking of the more than capable 5lb claimer James Turner negates that.

Won first 2 races at Sandown and Newmarket in good style and is obviously well thought of. Hung badly that day and may not have appreciated the course and the slower ground. Should show better here in good ground but is on a recovery mission.

Came 4th last time from an unfavorable draw in the Cambridgeshire and should fare better here in slightly calmer waters. This 7-year-old is still lightly raced, and trainer Terry Kent campaigns him very well for these big handicaps. Has good course and distance form and should give a good account.
