The handicap mark is now to a mark of 60, and this horse looks well weighted in this contest, with a lot of positives aswell. The drop down to 7f, the booking of Connor Beasley, and a good draw in stall 10. I expect this lad to give a good run tonight, and should be shorter than the current price of 10/1.

Like Lightning, the only concern i have about this dog is, he hasn't trapped the best, in his recent starts. However, these's dogs don't look as good as the dogs he has been up against recently. So, if he traps, he should go very close in this race. 100/30 looks a nice price.

Siam Park, i thought this horse would be favourite, tbh. This horse is last two runs have been over hurdles, when he is more suited to the bigger obstacles. Even though he ran very well last time out, but just got done when getting tired. Today, he is over them larger obstacles, in what looks like a very winnable race, imo. He is off mark of 116 over fences, which looks fair enough. Siam Park is a good jumper over fences, and with a top Jockey on board, I see this horse going very close in this weak - ish contest. 9/4 looks good vaule.

Maximized, this is the second string of the Appleby two runners. But, I do think this horse is overpriced/overlooked in the market. This horse has ran twice this year, over in Meydan, and has ran well in both starts. James Doyle takes the ride, and is worth chancing at the current price of 7/1.

Brunel Nation, this horse has a good record on good to firm ground, and over today's distance of 7f. He seems to be a much better horse on the turf, so i hope we see a return to form today. Donagh Murphy is booked, claiming 7lbs, and is booked for the first time on this horse, so that is interesting. This looks like a pretty weak race on paper aswell, so hopefully Brunel Nation can get his head in front today. 5/1 looks a little to big.

So, on that form, this horse looks very well handicapped, with a current mark of 74. So, hopefully he can put that victory performance, over to turf. 7/2 looks a little to big.

Dyrholaey, this horse was 5/1 last night, now drifted to 11s. I can only think because of money for the fav, but who knows. What drawn me to this horse, was Harry Vigors 7lbs claim. Dyrholaey, runs well when going left handed and is a CD winner here at Wolverhampton, and will probably be ridden prominently by young Harry. So a chance is taken at 11s, and can hopefully repeat his Chelmsford run.

Dabbling, this horse ran a nice race at Pontefract in July last year, finishing 4th of 11 rivals. This filly was disappointing last time out a carlisle, (sent off 2/1 fav) but the ground was not right for the horse that day, neither was the track. However, i do think this filly can give us a run for our money today. The horse will appericate this left handed track at catterick, and the quick ground aswell. Hopefully, the filly is fit and ready to go after a 211 day break and can prove better than a handicap mark of 64. 16/1 with Paddy Power, is good vaule.

The horse has good draw in stall 3, and has some good turf form in Ireland, before joining Roger Teal's yard. Mark Winn is on board today again, and the horse runs decent left handed, so should handle the track good.

So Smart, Grace Harris looks like she targets bath, or just has a good record here, with her horse's. However, this horse does run well here, and won at 28/1 at this course before. This Gelding loves Good to firm ground, so should love conditions at Bath today. They raced this horse on the wrong ground in the winter last year, and then had a spin on the AW. So Smart is back on his last winning mark of 64, and looks well handicapped to me, so should run well at course he loves. Good vaule, with 4 places.

Miss Attitude, I am going to side with this mare here, mainly because of the draw. This horse has got a much better draw this year, than last year. This year, the mare is drawn in stall 12, when the favourite is drawn in stall 1. The last three runnings of this race, the winner has come from stall 9 or above. So, hopefully this horse can run a big race, and show all it's ability, with regular jockey Rob Hornby on board.

Believeinmenow, Nigel Tinker sends two horse's to Bath tomorrow, but this horse caught my eye. All of this horse's best efforts have been on Good to firm ground, which the horse will get tomorrow at Bath, and maybe why Nigel Tinker sends this horse there. Believeinmenow ran well in a big class 2 handicap at York last year in August, staying on well to the line, against some decent horse's. Believeinmenow's lesser efforts have came on ground with a bit of dig in it, which by the looks of it, the horse does not like. So, this fast ground will suit this horse to a tea, and the team wouldn't make the 4hr drive, just for a fitness run. Overpriced at 14/1 imo.

Utmost Good Faith, this a good race and is very competitive, but I do think this horse is overpriced at around 13/2 - 7/1. He went from the front in a competitive race at Kempton in February, but ran his legs off from the front. However, I do think there is more to come from this lad, with Hector on board. Would be a good sign if there is market support. Worth a bet at the price.

Numero Vingt, I backed this horse last time out at Southwell, but he never really got going. The cheekpieces go on today, which will definitely make a difference to this horse, imo, with a good draw in stall 1, with Luke Morris on board, at course the horse is familiar with running well at. I personally, am glad Luke Morris takes the ride in this contest, because i believe he gets the best out of this horse, and probably with more improvement left to come from the horse. I am more than happy to take a chance at this price, of 11/1 with 4 places, looks a good bet to me.

Latin, I was surprised when i saw this horse was around the 5/1 mark. He won well in an Amateur race last time out, hitting the line well, and was really too good for his rivals. Shafi, this horse looks like an ew bet to nothing imo. This Colt won nicely at Southwell, on his second career start, under tonight's jockey David Allan. He has probably needed the runs this year, with last time out, being too far in distance. The drop back to 7f will suit, and there will be no worries about fitness, this time around. Im expecting a big run, and hopefully more improvement from this horse.

Noahsgreatrainbow, this horse took to fences pretty well, on his first chase start at Wincanton, beating a horse who is seeking a hatrick of victory's currently. This horse's last two starts, haven't been the best, but if getting back to his best here, he could prove a big threat. He is also open to more improvement over fences, with only being a 7 year old aswell. The ground will be good to firm at Ascot, so that's a question mark. However, he is still unexposed on that ground. Brendan Powell takes over in the saddle, so that is a plus. 1.5pts win.

Demoiselle Kap, I think this horse may have more to give over hurdles. The horse won over hurdles last year a couple times, and won easily at Sedgefield to make it four in a row (the 2nd is now rated 111, but is soon to go up in handicap) The horse has mainly been racing over fences this year, and a return to hurdles, may do the trick. She also produces good winning times over hurdles aswell. Overpriced, should not be 11/2 -6/1. 2pt win.

Mitbaahy, I think this horse is of some interest. This horse won a nice race at the Curragh last year, when picking them up from the rear of the field, beating Regional, who was 2nd that day
Jamie Spencer is in the saddle today, and i think the same tactics will be in order again today. Mitbaahy is also drawn well in stall 2, and has also had run this year, so fitness should be there. 20/1 with 4 places, looks a bet to me. 1pt EW.

Numero Vingt, this horse has only had three carrer starts, and has been quite green during his racing, which is very understandable. This horse won quite nicely last time out Lingfield, when still showing signs of in experience. That day, he recorded a time of 1 minute and 11 seconds, that's 2 to 3 seconds quicker than any of his rivals in this field. I also, expect the horse to improve again, with him getting familiar with his job. So hopefully the horse can make it a hatrick of victory's!

Lequinto, this horse looks like a very nice bet today. I was mainly intrigued by this horse when he finished 2nd at today's course, in January. When just got denied over the top by Toolatetonegotiate, when already seeing off Sam's Express (rated 73) However, things have not gone his way after that run. Upped in grade, was drawn wrong. But, for them things happening, it means his mark is on the decline. The horse is now down 3lbs in the handicap since just being denied at today's course, and with Matthew Slater taking 7lbs off, the drop grade, step up in distance, and the correct draw, I don't see any reason why this horse can't challenge in this contest. 12/1 with 365 and PP, should be shorter.

Thistle Be The One, this horse travelled nicely, three starts ago when finishing 5th at Ascot in a competitive class 4 contest but, just got tired 2 out. The handicapper put the horse down 2lbs for that run, back in November 2025. The horse now races off a mark 95 today (including Toby's 5lb claim) which i think is far too generous. The drop back in trip down to 2m 0f will definitely suit, plus the drop in grade, and with a good 5lb claimer taking over in the saddle, this horse should be too good for his rivals here.

Melton Mossy, this horse ran some nice races over hurdles, and on good ground. The horse had his first spin over fences last time out, in quite a competitive race, for his first chase start. The horse jumped lovely over the bigger obstacles and looks like chasing will suit this horse. Especially with good ground, and that's what the horse will get in this race, if no rain comes between now and post. Sage green, does not have any form on good ground, and maybe lacking confidence, after the fall last time out. The favourite, Sanitiser, maybe vulnerable beacause i do think that race he won last time out, would of been a closer a finish if the horse in 2nd did'nt get tired. Melton Mossy is a crazy price in my opinion, should definitely not be the outsider of the field, at 9/1.

Rukaana, this horse was impressive two starts ago, at Windsor over today's trip. The horse won on the bridle at Windsor, beating a horse home who was 2nd, rated 111. Last time out, Rukaana only went down by ½ a length, but hit the line like there was more improvement to come. I think this race is quite weak, and with more improvement yet to come, I think, Rukaana should be hard to beat. 3/1 is a generous price and racing of a mark of 95 today (taking into count Benjamin Macey's 5lb claim) this mark may prove generous.

Especially, when he ran well on race course debut at Kempton, just beaten by ½ a length (winner of that race is currently rated 78, but will probably rise to a mark of 80) Argy Bhaji ran well again last time out, when having to overcome a tricky draw at Chelmsford, did well to secure 3rd place. Amazonian Dream, I spent a while looking at this race, and I've ended up on this horse. Two starts ago, this horse ran a nice race, coming from off the pace to try sweep past them all, but just got done on the line, beat some decent horses home in that race. That shown me, that the horse still has the ability in the tank. The favourite looks false to me in this race, and this horse, looks well handicapped to run a big race. Amazonian Dream runs of a mark 75, which looks generous. 4/1 seems a decent price. 2pt win. (Going to start putting the stake down now, on the write ups, from now on)

Mumayaz, I'm going to give this horse a chance at the price. This horse has been racing in tougher races than this recently, and has been travelling well against them horse's. Mumayaz is a CD winner at the track which is another positive for the horse's chance. Jack Doughty rides, which is a another good sign, with the jockey having a good record on the horse. So, I am going to take a chance on this well handicapped horse, who slips down in grade. I did see this horse was around 9/1 / 10/1 earlier, so hopefully that money was from connections. Still looks overpriced at 11/2.

The horse has been racing against better opposition than these's rivals he faces today, the horse has a good amount of stamina, for what I've watched in the replays, and always battles, when it comes to the important point in the race, which is key in these's long races. Ballyfad, I think this horse is of some vaule here, in the opening race of day 2. This horse won nicely two starts back, showing some nice jumping. Last time out, I was really impressed with the horse is run, just going down my a short head to Talk The Talk over 2m at the Dublin racing festival. I think the step up in trip will be no bother to the horse, and i think he will run a big race.
