Dancing Dame, this Irish stable switcher to James Owen has looked to have found a race to break her maiden tag. This race won't take a lot of winning at all, and is a poor race to be honest. She has been racing in competitive mares races in Ireland, and has ran credible in most of her races. This looks a nice easy start, to her carrer in the UK.

Marks Choice, this horse normally needs a couple runs at the start of the year, and looks overpriced in this small runner contest. I don't really like the top of the market, as the fav and 2nd fav look too high in the handicap after there wins. This horse is off a fair ish mark and looks worth a play at the current price of 10/1 and is well drawn in 2.

Alondra, this horse looks overpriced at 12/1 with this filly loving the track and the quick 5f trip. She looks to be improving with every run and a return to this course, may bring out a nice run in her. Alondra ran a nice race at Yarmouth last time, but found two rivals, too good in the end. This race looks weak ish on paper, and she should be involved late on, on this fair mark.

Night Mission, this horse looks of a bit of interest. Two starts ago at Kempton this horse was in rear for all the race, until entering the home straight, when making some nice headway, but probably needed an extra furlong, which the horse gets tonight. Last time out at Ascot, was a competitive race and did well to finish 9th of 19 runners. Night Mission runs off a mark of 72 tonight, and should probably be rated a few pounds better than that. Drawn in stall 1 tonight, so hopefully can grab the rail and stay there. C. Lee is booked, which is a postive and this lightly raced 3 yo still has more improvement to come, especially racing over 7f for the first time, and racing with a bend.

On Edge, this horse won nicely at Bath two starts ago, beating some decent horse's, for that grade and on that run, looks better than this mark of 73. However, is returning from a 221 day break, but might have done the horse some good. On Edge has decent form at Chepstow, which strengthens the horse is case and looks a better animal over 5f, rather than 6f. Should probably be shorter than 5s.

Intenzo, I backed this horse last time out at Startford, but couldn't get into a nice jumping rhythm, however, every horse is allowed a bad run. The winner of that race, Captain Cool, has gone in again and is now rated 120+ plus, so the form is working out, and this race is a much weaker race than last time out. Intenzo is still a young 5yo horse, so is open to improvement. Definitely worth a small bet at 11/1.

Byzantium, this horse was unlucky last time out, when looking the winner when coming into the home turn, but got distracted and was out of the race. In that three runner race, the other two horse's were rated 116 and now 120, and Byzantium did look the winner aswell. Byzantium, is currently rated 112, which looks well handicapped, but looks to be improving aswell, and loves the track here. Usually ridden prominently and this looks an easier task, overpriced in my eyes, as the horse shouldn't be rated 112.

Lipa K, I backed this horse when it won at Warwick, and was at the course that day. The horse looked really well in the paddock and ran really well, to get up on the line. Jockey Charlie Todd gave the horse a peach that, from last to first and he still looks well handicapped off 124, with more still to give i reckon. Only about got up by a nose at Warwick, but was the strongest finishing horse, and should only go upwards, with this 3m trip. My main concern would be the track, as the horse as never ran here, but we will find out in due course. The stable are in good form, so that's a postive, and he will definitely out run these's odds.

Intenzo, this horse was in the rear last time out, 11 days ago and never really got involved in the race, tbh, I've drawn a line over his last two starts. This horse really impressed when he finished 2nd on chase debut, and could of gone close if he wasn't so green that day, at a track similar to Stratford. He races of a mark of 95 (including Charlie Maggs 3lb claim) and this horse is definitely better than a rating of 95. So I'm expecting a big run from this lad, with more improvement still to come, off a generous mark. This is the yards only runner at this meeting aswell, with Intenzo making the 3 hour trip down from York, and they race over 2 miles, which will suit this horse.

Krak, I think this horse has a nice chance in this class 4 contest here, with this race not looking the best on paper. Krak is still relatively unexposed over hurdles, and travelled well two starts ago in a very competitive class 2 hurdle race, at Kempton. His lastest start, he was PU, but happy to draw a line over that. The horse sits on a mark of 119 over hurdles, and he could well have the edge over the handicapper here, as I think he could well be better than that, with him still learning the job a bit. The drop back to 2m and a bit, could prove key here, and with Tom Bellamy booked, I expect a nice run from this horse.

Dubhain, this horse doesn't have much form on paper, but this horse did beat a horse home who is now rated 118, and the highest rated horse in this contest is rated about 10lbs lower than 118. J.J Slevin takes the ride, which is a postive sign, and with not much pace on, i expect this horse to be prominent and get an easy lead, so I'm happy to take a punt on this horse, at the price.

Tuba, this horse won nicely last time out at today's course, and Gina Mangan really didn't have to ask a question on this horse, last time out. The handicapper has upped this horse 4lbs in the weights to a mark of 65, and i still think there is room for improvement from this horse, off that mark of 65. The horse is stepped up 1f today, which will be no issue, and i hope this horse gets a nice time of it from the front, and repeat last times effort. Worthy favourite.

Le Beau Garcon, this horse ran a cracker at Ayr last year when winning under Jo Mason, when seeing off Copper Knight in a photo. This horse finished 2nd at Catterick two starts ago, running a nice race. That last run can be scratched. He returns here at Ripon off a 200+ day break, which in this horse is case, is a good thing, because this horse always produces his best stuff when coming back from a break. He looks on a good mark, and the jockey takes a valuable 7lbs off, and this course will suit. 9/1 looks overpriced to me.

Receipt, I got this horse spot on last time, I said it would be a lengths job, and it was! Connections turn him out again here, at Kempton over 7f. The horse has gone up 5lbs for that win, which was always going to happen, to mark of 73, which i still think he is well handicapped at. I really think is a mid 80s rated horse, and the form shows. Hornby gets on aboard today, and from a good draw in stall 4, I don't see any reason why he can't follow up again here, with improvement still to come, I expect him a big run once again. Overpriced at 9/1.

Storminhome, this horse ran well at Southwell 65 days ago, when just getting beat on the line, to a horse much lighter in the weights than him. They pulled well clear than the rest that day, and I expect Storminhome to improve some more from that performance at Southwell. This horse stays all day, so stamina is really his strong point, and with this horse being ridden prominently, there is an advantage to prominent horse at this course, so hopefully that can do him a favour. He does look a better horse than his current mark of 117, and the track looks sure to suit him. Market support would be a big bonus for this horse, especially for the Skelton yard, worthy favourite imo.

Tommy Cullen, the Crawley yard think this horse is pretty decent, from what I've seen in interviews. He won nicely at Doncaster, and then tried to follow up at Doncaster at a SP of even money, and ran a really nice race. He travelled well and jumped well, apart from a big mistake 3 from home, however, he recovered well but just got beat coming up to the line. The horse who won that day is currently rated 122, but i think he is a better horse than 122. I'm going to discount Tommy Cullen's last two runs, because at Southwell the trip was too far, and last time out at Huntingdon, the horse doesn't like the course and is a better horse going left handed, rather than Huntingdon, which is a right handed track. I think this course well suit the horse down to ground, and quick ground is what the horse will want. The horse looks very well handicapped to me, he is off a mark of 112, and looks a much better horse than that mark, so I expect a big run, with a very eye catching jockey booking, in Harry Cobden. 5/1 looks a nice price.

Numero Vingt, I think this horse is quite overpriced in this contest, if you dismiss his last two runs, he would probably be fav. I did back this horse last time out, but he was drawn wrong and didn't really break out of the stalls well. When this horse did win at Lingfield, he beat a horse rated 77, while giving away 12lbs in weight to the 2nd. There's less runners in this contest, which will help, and some of these's are coming back from a lengthy absence from the track. Luke Morris is on aboard, which is a postive, and i expect a big run here from this chap. 12/1 is good ew vaule.

Ardisia, I thought this horse was quite overpriced tbh. The top two in market, are obviously the main contenders in the race. However, this horse has had a run this year, unlike most of his rivals. He ran in the Greenham,(7f) and travelled nicely, before tiring, and probably did need that run. I do think he is a better horse over 6f and ran a nice race over CD last year, so i do think this lad will give us a run for our money, and he will enjoy conditions. 16/1 looks good vaule.

This horse loves it here, at Southwell, and probably would of won again if breaking level out of the stalls (2nd by a neck that day) He has had some below par efforts on the turf recently, and a return to the AW can make a difference here. There maybe more improvement from this horse, so a mark of 77 maybe kind. I expect Alistair to deliver this horse late, and hopefully he is first past the winning post.

Tabby, this horse had his first start for James Tate only 8 days ago, and ran a cracker of a race, with carrying 10st 2lbs, but just got done over the top by a lower weighted horse. The horse who 3rd that day is rated 67, and Tabby beat that horse easy, while giving away 15lbs in weight. (Top weight in this field is 73) A really positive jockey booking in Hector Crouch, and this horse is definitely worth a punt a 3s.

General Assembly, this horse has ran some nice races on the AW this year, and just got done on the line at Wolverhampton two starts ago (the winner of that race is now rated 78) General Assembly looked to have ran into one at Chelmsford last time out, and the winner is now rated in the high 80s mark, after winning a class 2 contest. This is a much weaker contest, and this looks like a good opportunity to get a win aboard, if everything goes correctly. I expect this horse to be ridden prominently by Sean D Bowen and try punch the race from there. 9/2 seems a nice price.

Receipt, this horse has only had three starts on the flat, but them first three runs have been some good efforts. On his first flat start at today's CD, the horse finished 2nd by ¾ of a length, but was giving away like 16lbs to the winner, who looks like he will be rated around the 80 mark. Receipt then raced at Kempton, but probably didn't suit a mile, and the track. 23 days ago, this horse then had outing over today's CD, when giving some weight away again, and finished a nice 3rd (the horse who finished 5th, looks to be rated around the 70 mark, who receipt was giving 13lbs to) Receipt, now goes handicapping with a opening mark of 68, which looks to be very generous indeed, and in my books, this should be a lengths job (will probably be back of the telly now I've said that, lol) Jason Hart takes the ride, which is a very good booking, and this horse should be way shorter.

Comic Strip, this 3yo old returned from a 4 month break only 16 days ago, at Southwell with decent come back run finishing 3rd, and giving away weight to the 2nd and 1st. He looked like he would improve again from that run and looks primed for a big run on his turf debut. He is drawn in stall 3, which is a nice draw at Bath, and Jack Callan takes the ride (claiming 3lbs) who has a 40% strike rate for Simon & Ed Crisford, and this horse should put in a big run, on turf debut.
