Recent wind surgery after a disappointing appearance at Ascot appears to have worked looking at recent form. Main threat comes from the market leader Angel of Anfield, but I expect the selection to go close here.

Spot On Soph won over C&D last time out, also on good ground. Her form has been franked from that race with 3rd place subsequently winning twice. She also beat Final Edgar in that race, who she faces again here. Only up 3lb for that success, which shouldn't be enough to prevent her going close again.

Fancy one of the Japanese horses to win the Arc this year and the pick of the three is Alohi Alii, with the low draw in his favor coming from stall 4. Christophe Lemaire is back on board, who had success in a tough race at Deauville on this horse. Connections have been encouraged by the soft going, should go well.

Coming up against an in-form Dortmund side who are unbeaten so far this season, with Nico Williams still sidelined for the away side, I can't see anything but a Dortmund win.

No real threat from the rest of the small field apart from Jackstell, but Jackstell hasn't won in over a year and is coming off a long break. So, Queensworthy is the preference.
