I do like Seren Star given the form William Haggas is currently in and she has won here previously, but I have doubts on her mark now and strength of form, along with run style. That's why my selection here is Dunkeld Dreamer. Has ran some creditable races so far this season and goes back up in trip which should definitely see her to best effect. If she gets a handy lead that she can take advantage of, then she could be the one they have to beat.

I can see Tapley getting back to winning ways here today. He has run some mighty races against the likes of Secret Des Dieux and Barlovento. Now we're not in the main season he should find a contest like this more to his lilking, having proven that already when winning here two starts ago. That was a Class 3 that day and the 2nd, Classic King, went on to win next time out.

For all his efforts I don't think Frank Stomper is going to get a better opportunity than this one. There are two unknowns in the field that I'd be careful of as you don't know what they'll bring to this in Trooper and Prettylady, both handicapping now for the first time.

Tough luck last time out when leading and got beaten a neck in the finish. In the relams of a winning mark and remaining in class 3 is sure to help. Is up 3lbs for the 2nd but hoping she can defy that here when racing prominently once again.

Taking on the fav here who is up in class for Paul Nicholls. Not an overly convinving win last time out either. Although All Inn Hand carries top weight, that shouldn't be a bother. She won her novice hurdle here by 22 lengths back in may and a mark of 108 seems lenient. Mickey Bowens horses have been in good form and Sean Bowen takes the ride. Her last few starts has been over fences, and I think given that last run she may well have more to offer over hurdles.

John Butler's horses has been running well of late. The selection has been running consistently, with some useful form to go with it. Comes out of stall 5 and should be one of the more prominent runners in the field. Cheek pieces applied; could find further improvement.

Comes here off the back of three runs and winning one of those runs. Has a nice profile for the race, compared to previous winners. Should race prominently. Only negative is his draw but may be good enough to over come it. Ralph Beckett has a strike rate of around 19% for the last 14 and 30 days. Would hope Tierra Del Toro can be in here with a chance today.

I'm not the biggest fan of this race with so many unexposed horses with little to know form lines to trust. However, William Haggas has reasonable form when sending runners to Thirsk. Has been in great form the last month and this race may well just setup for Caraway to make a decent run to the finish.

I think he is a huge price for what he has done. A few winners and good performances come from that Epsom run last time out. Remains in Class 4 company which gives him every chance being only 2lbs higher than winning at Chester in a Class 4. There is a slight bias when it comes to high draws and being held up, so I expect him to out run his odds today.

Ran a blinder at Newbury and only gone up 1 lb for his trouble. Well worth another go at the price, and he has Ryan Moore in the saddle to do the steering. Hopefully he will be in the mix again.
