Miles better than the result last time on just the second start of the season when getting hampered twice. Should come on again, and back on soft ground, can go well.

Ran well on return over 7f. Drops back to 6f tomorrow on the same ground. Ran an eye-catching race the last time he ran on it.

Return from a break to run in handicap for the first time after competing mainly in listed events. Races on soft ground for the first time since winning on it last year, should go well if ready.

Green when last seen, but got better as the race went on and looked to have more left after 6.5f. A mile tomorrow, and if he's trained on, he should go well.

Unlucky in both races for Cowell the last twice. Running well in the Stewards before being crowded out, and then Newcastle, the same thing. Soft ground was when run well here last year, and with BL booked, looks set to go well again.

Running well on good ground but looks to be crying out for his preferred soft. Well handicapped on some of his old form and with conditions ideal, he's sure to go well.

Impressive on two runs, with the latest franked by second winning twice. Has Arc entry and needs to win this to have any chance.

Had just two flat runs and was better than the result on his latest run at Goodwood. Looks value at current odds.

A good-sized filly who caught my eye on her third start at Wolves, staying on into 7th under an easy ride against some useful males from top yards and outrunning her inflated odds by some way. She was then very well backed to run a big race at Brighton on her handicap debut where, although not providing her backers with a payout, I think the run can be upgraded somewhat as not only did she race a tad keen that day, I don't think she handled the undulations of the quirky East Sussex track too well, and in the end had to settle for second place to a 'first-time blinkers' improver. She returns to the all-weather tomorrow and the track she caught the eye to some degree on debut, so from a nice draw and in a lower grade to her last two runs, she looks nailed on for a big run.

Highest rated of the field and is a mud lover. She ran well on her return in a decent Goodwood Group 3 and with the Gosdens winning this race 4 of the last 11 times, on ground which will be ideal come tomorrow, she looks like making it the yard's 5th win in 12 renewals.

Ran quite well in each of her races against all sexes, though been racing a tad keen. She drops a furlong tomorrow, and if handling the softer ground, she can run a big race on this flatter track.
