6:15 Clonmel SHODA 3/1 has been progressing nicely this season after some decent runs at Naas in February, at this venue in July, and at Tramore last time out, placing in all three of those runs. She was beaten as the odds-on favourite last time out but was beaten by a well-treated rival who had been slipping down the handicap. Running off the same mark here as last time, she can finally get her head in front for the very first time in 2025.

Third of 8 behind River Wharfe, beaten 4 lengths at 7-4fav on his latest outing at Brighton over 1m (good to firm) last month. Monks Mead gained one of two career wins over CD and has been in solid form in his last five runs. With a further pound drop, he should play a significant role.

5pm. Epsom Downs Pink Azalea (Nap 5/1) to also win by 2 lengths I hope. Pinky was hugely impressive when bolting up at Ripon on soft ground and backed that effort up with another big run under a positive ride last time, finishing second from a higher mark. Conditions are in her favor again and she rates the main danger despite being on a stiff rating. Won her first two handicaps easily on the soft ground, one almost by 10 lengths in the soft condition, and likes the rain with heavy also in its favor. The more rain, the better, but as it stands now 5/1 is a shocking price. Really should be more 11/4 I say. ????????????

I'm going to have a single on this one as well. ((ELANA OSARIO)) 8/1, 3pm. She has run 9 times and from those runs, she has won 3 of those races and has only finished outside of the first 3 on her debut. She comes here on the back of a Listed win in the Group 3 Give Thanks Stakes at Cork last month. Undoubtedly, a great run cutting out then up the inside where she stayed on strongly, running the fastest final 2 furlongs off (11.13s, & 11.60s) to beat Island Hopping by half a length. She also needs to step up again, but her top speed and finishing speed figures ranked above the race average at Cork. I particularly liked the way she hit the line in the last 50 yards, despite wandering around once in front. In a better race, there should be further improvement to come, and I think she is one of the better each-way bets at Doncaster this week. Good luck.

2:35, Chelmsford Cabeza De Llave, 4/1 ??'???'? Another who loves it here at Chelmsford and especially over the 5f trip with three CD wins (from 8, two further places). Took time to find his form this term but has been going well of late with two seconds and a third in his last four runs and is three pounds below his last winning mark (over CD in October). Michael Attwater's gelding looks solid and could go close to landing a fourth CD win.

The joint-owned Al Shaqab & Amo horse bounced back at Goodwood next time and was a solid third behind Moon Target in the Prestige most recent. She looks likely to improve most if Moon Target is not on song. A solid RFC could be in.

I was stuck with three there between odds of 4/1 and 14/1, with most of the field winning at odds greater than 4/1 in the same race previously. Horses coming into this Pump Technology Nursery have only seen 1 favorite winning and 4 over the odds of 7/2 or better. The draw between 5 to 10 has been favored most. No horse has had serious form in the last 5 renewals that have gone on to win the race also. Land of Liberty really catches the eye as well as Blue to Blue, although it would most probably go off favorite and maybe would deserve to. Bosom Pals also has a big chance in this, so those 3 were my twist, and Liberty Lane to overcome Blue to Blue, I hope. Thanks for reading my insight. Good luck in the 4:15. Biggest one to date, I think, with 12 runners declared.
