I like the odds here for Southampton away against Ipswich, who they managed to beat last season. This specific selection won't make it into my weekend accumulator, but it's a nice single as I think these odds are fairly generous. Worth a small punt.

It's a shame OLBG does not seem to offer selections on rounds, as my real bet is DDP to win in round 4 or 5. As we saw in the Burns and Usman fight, Khamzat tends to fatigue in round 3. If DDP can survive the first 2-3 rounds, then the fight will tend to favor DDP heavily. R4 at 25/1 and R5 at 33/1 for DDP seems like outrageous odds and worth a punt on both rounds. It could be a KO or a sub, but I expect DDP to win if he can survive the first 2 rounds.

Barcelona are also on a 5-win streak away. I think these are great odds for Barcelona, thought they would be 1/3 or more but will happily take these odds on Barcelona starting their season off strong.

Wolves have failed to secure 1 win in their 6 preseason games and have lost Cunha for this season, who was a big goal scorer for them last season. City is such a strong team and did the double on Wolves last season. City will want to start this season strong as Liverpool look likely to win the league again. I think this should be a comfortable win for City, and these odds for City are amazing in my opinion.

West Ham's preseason has been a lot better than Sunderland's. Sunderland managed 1 win in 9 preseason games, and that came against South Shields, a team from the English Northern League. Meanwhile, West Ham has 3 wins, 1 loss, and 1 draw at full time in their 5 preseason games. Sunderland had bad form leading up to their playoffs last year and have started their preseason poorly as well. The Premier League is a huge step up here, and I think West Ham is too much for Sunderland in the opening game, who are favorites for relegation.

Solanke has missed the preseason for Tottenham but has been confirmed to start for the opening day, which is a big boost for Spurs. Spurs' H2H record is very good against Burnley, never losing a home game from the records I can find. This is a big step up for Burnley, and I think Spurs can just edge this win. This is, in my opinion, my hardest selection for the weekend, but I'm still somewhat confident Spurs can get it done. Burnley played well last season and had a decent preseason, but this is a big step up in competition. With them losing some good players and signing so many new ones, I don't know if the chemistry will be right for the opening day. Expecting a tight Spurs win.

I think it's strange to see Aston Villa at 13/10 here, and I'll gladly take it. Aston Villa's home form is amazing, not losing in 22 games, while Newcastle seems to be in shambles with their situation with Isak. While I don't think preseason is the best thing to go by, it's worth noting Watkins is in form with 5 goals in their 10 preseason games. Newcastle managed to win their first preseason game, then followed by 4 losses and 2 draws. Last time Aston Villa played Newcastle at home, they won 4-1. 13/10 seems very generous, but it is the early kickoff, and we know how they go., but worth the bet, nonetheless.

Liverpool have beaten Bournemouth in their last 4 meetings and really dominate at home. I'm expecting the opening game of the season to be a high-scoring game with Liverpool dominating early. Liverpool both halves at 5/6 seems to be the best value for this match as they tend to beat Bournemouth at home with ease each time they play. This time I don't see it being any different with Bournemouth missing key defenders from last year. This bet has huge value in my opinion. I think it's overvalued at 5/6.
