Vitalline (GB) is a 7-year-old bay gelding by Due Diligence out of Vitta’s Touch, trained by Kieran Burke and is ridden by Josephine Gordon. He goes into this off a modest mark of 51 and has a record of six wins from 45 runs, so he knows how to win at this level. His most recent run over 6f at kempton saw him finish 3rd of 12, making late headway. That race was behind (early release) who i tipped and won. He also won earlier this season at Lingfield over 7f, showing he can handle bid distances. The return to 7f here looks more in his comfort zone, especially on Polytrack where he handles the surface. With Gordon aboard, if he can break cleanly, settle halfway, and produce his usual late surge, Vitalline offers appealing each-way value in this handicap. This is a step up in class but he should be up for the challenge in the finish.

Sirius A (IRE) is a 2-year-old bay colt, by Palace Pier out of Night of Light, trained by James Horton, with Jack Mitchell aboard. He goes into this Listed contest off a mark reflecting his class, having already shown he’s capable of producing a bold effort: he finished a smart third at Kempton in the Group 3 Sirenia Stakes (6f, AW) last time out, making up ground strongly. Earlier in the season, he broke his maiden at Leicester over 7f and has run well in black-type company since. Dropping down in trip to 5f is a question mark, but the speed and raw ability he’s shown suggest he could cope if the pace is honest. He caught my eye lto at kempton and went straight in the tracker, crazy finishing speed so im hoping to see the same tomorrow.

Eternal Sunshine, a 5-year-old bay mare trained by J. S. Goldie and usually ridden by Lauren Young, is set to contest the 16:25 York Handicap (5f, Class 3) tomorrow. She runs off a mark of 88 and arrives on excellent recent form, having won at Thirsk twice then landing a treble at Doncaster after that. Her sprinting ability is well proven, as are her finishing capabilities, and she’s shown she handles a variety of ground types. She still ran well in her last 2 runs on soft ground but returning to york over 5f on good ground she should be able to put a good run in like her previous run here.

Im willing to play 1pt e/w on this. I mentioned palmeira at Newbury at 40/1 and she came 2nd off a mark of 77, her next run was at Doncaster where she was in the mix again at 100/1 just being 4l off (revival power) in this race who is in fine form. She finished infront of (Argentine tango) lto and considering argentine tango is 8/1 in this im happy to have a small e/w at this price, I think she's a filly thats open to improvement and she stays in my tracker.

Searchingtheblues (GB) is a 3-year-old bay filly by Due Diligence out of Blue Lyric, trained by M. D. I. Usher. She’s captured two wins from 6 starts. Her victories include a double over 7f on all-weather ??" one at Kempton and another at Wolverhampton ??" demonstrating she handles Polytrack well and can stay the trip. This season has been tougher: she’s run at Kempton and Newmarket without getting the job done, and while beaten by several lengths, the form suggests she’s not far off. I mentioned this filly in a previous group i was in on debut at 100/1 last year and I liked the US pedigree on her and ive kept a close eye on her since and still have faith giving her age. She followed up with another win after her debut run and lost it after that. She returns after a break and a wind operation so im hoping she'll run fresh.

His last win was off 67 and hes placed off 80 in the past under luke morris so hes definitely due a win now especially with the consistency shown.
