Stepping into deeper waters here, but his upward trajectory suggests he's not out of place, and he looks capable of making his presence felt. With jockey J.J. Slevin in flying form and enjoying a strong Punchestown Festival so far, confidence in the saddle could be a key asset.

Bit of a gamble here, but willing to take this on at the price. Last performance we saw Astley finishing 2nd of 15 at Clonmel LTO. That day saw Astley finishing in front of Gordon Elliott's horse Cosmos d'Ainay, who went off as favourite that day. Gordon Elliott paid £165,000 for Cosmos and must have thought a lot of it.
