Gone Rogue

Daily Racing

25 EW

Gone Rogue (IRE) is a 4-year-old bay gelding by Gustav Klimt out of Assault On Rome, trained by Gary & Josh Moore and set to be ridden by Ashley Lewis, who takes a handy 5lb claim. He runs off an official rating of 55, which looks workable given recent form. Last time at Brighton he ran a strong race over 6f 210y, finishing second and beaten less than a length, showing he handles the track’s unique undulations well. The run back in July at Windsor on soft ground is where the attraction came for this selection, he ran really well on the ground that day narrowly missing out. He finished infront of (revival) who ran a cracker in the class 2 Chepstow mile last month in the mix with the likes of (Too much Trevor) and (Ajrad). So im hoping this return to soft ground will play to Gone Rogues strengths

Speaktotheguvnor

Daily Racing

25 EW

Speaktotheguvnor is a 3-year-old bay filly by Ardad out of Belle Dormant, trained by Jennie Candlish and set to be ridden by P. Mulrennan. She carries a rating of 65, stepping into handicap company after showing promise in maidens. Her most recent run saw her finish a close second over 6f at Ffos Las with a first-time cheekpiece applied, beaten by around 2½ lengths ??" a performance that suggests she’s ready to take a step forward in this field. Before that, she was well-held over 7f at Doncaster but seems better suited to the sharp 6f trip. Her pedigree gives her potential to improve, especially under a good ride, and this drop in class matches what she needs to make the frame. The second place at ffoslas was behind (lodge) under Billy Loughnane who ran another good race nto at windsor this month. At 11/1 she holds nice value here.

Havana Touch

Daily Racing

25 EW

Havana Touch is a 4-year-old grey gelding by Havana Grey out of Flighty Clarets, trained by John Butler and set to be ridden by David Egan. He races off an official rating of 65, which is 5lb above his win at Kempton back in May. That win confirmed both his liking for the Polytrack and his ability to strike at this level. Since then, he’s been a little inconsistent, but he has shown enough in defeat to suggest another win isn’t far away. The return to Kempton is a clear positive, as is the booking of Egan, who knows how to judge the fractions perfectly around here. If Havana Touch can break cleanly and get a good position early, he has every chance of running right back to that winning form. With course and distance in his favour, he looks a lively each-way contender who could be right in the shake-up. Havana is lightly raced this year and the win at kempton lto came off of a 3 month lay off so he should run fresh tomorrow, also its around now he runs better heading into the winter months on AW.
