Effective over 2??"2½ miles, possibly best at 2½ miles. Acts on any ground but is suited by decent ground. Has won here three years in a row. Top-class, nine-time Grade 1 winner and as good as ever. Should remain competitive at the top level.

Winner of two G1s and went close in the Triumph here last year. Warmed to the jumping task when winning the Game Spirit Chase (Grade 2) at Newbury by 6½ lengths last time, beating more experienced rivals. Henry VIII (Grade 1) winner previously. Effective at 2m; acts on any surface. Top class over hurdles and fences and sets the standard on chase form. May improve for a bit further in time but will be tough to beat for last year's winning yard if able to lay up early.

Jumped slickly, conceded the first run. Unsuitable when hurdles were removed, finishing second, beaten 3¼ lengths in the Formby Novices' Hurdle (Grade 1) at Aintree latest. Effective at 2m. Acts on soft and good to soft ground. Looks classy for a top yard. Can do better in a strongly run race but must improve to win.

That was not the strongest race for the level. Trainer in form. Effective over 2m; acts on good and good-to-soft. Progressing for new yard, could be top class and is a leading contender.

Won this race last year. Made too much use of when beaten 8l in a handicap hurdle at Plumpton last time. Blinkers are applied for the first time. She is effective over 2m4f??"3m1f and suited by plenty of cut, and still looks on a fair mark. Top jockey booked and should go well.
