I know it was back in April, but the Chicago Cubs went into Brew Country and came out with a 2-1 series win against Milwaukee. That series was reversed when they met again in Milwaukee in July, but it shows the visitors have the capability to play tough against the Brewers.

Even at 5/2, ARABIAN FORCE looks valuable because he comes into this contest on the back of a staying-on-well second-placed finish in a Group 2 event at York in August. The trip was too short that day. None of his rivals have form in the book to match that run so as long as he handles the dlightly softer conditions he looks a good bet.

ST ANTON ran very green on debut at Newmarket in August but stepped up his form next time out to finish second to a horse that had proven form in soft ground. The going may have been too soft that day for my selection. He should appreciate this much firmer surface. I'll take this horse with experience over today's favorite who is making his racecourse debut.
