13/2 is a bit of a steal for MASHAAN, I think. 58, though 8 lbs higher than his latest win, is still very low for a horse rated in the mid-high 70s at a time, and that win was very easy. Not disgraced when 5th LTO off 59.

UP THE CLARETS is my 11/1 nap. This one won on debut and was tried on his 3rd run in the Coventry Stakes at Royal Ascot 2024. He came last of 22 at 200/1, so we won't get too excited about that. He then went handicapping off 81 and ran fairly well in a class 4, and has run in class 2 as well. Today he's in a suitable grade (5) at a suitable mark (72) and can outrun odds.

Ribeye is here on a mark of 92, which isn't a winning mark, but isn't far off it. At this price, it's worth a go. Perhaps things slot into place for him. He's won off 89, 90, and 86, and was 2nd off 92 before.

Open race, plenty in with chances. ROGUE THUNDER is down 2 lbs from last run where he was slowly away. This mark of 47 is a career low mark. Back down to 6f, last time at 6f came 2nd off 50 at 11/10 SP.
