The wily Thomas Gibney enters two and three times flat winner DROP THE DIP could get involved at a huge price.She seemed to be getting the hang of things last time out at Punchestown though the trip was inadequate and she got run off his feet in the end crossing the line in her own time 57 lengths adrift. May well be capable of better over this distance with that clear round under her belt.

That it should come to this! From racing in Class 2 events at Ascot after two wins for William Haggas just nine months ago to this level is a bit like Man United finding themselves in the National League but it's all self inflicted, he's done nothing since joining this yard. Surely to God he can get involved in this?
