Course specialist who should be a little bit better than these. Trappy race, so wouldn't put off anyone covering each way. But I'm all or nothing, so win only and hope for a good start from a bad stall.

Watch the market for this one given the connections, but this horse has done nothing wrong so far and the opening mark may be lenient. Beat a Boughey's hotpot cosily and then followed up with a fourth that is better than the run suggests. 8/1 is too big to ignore and I'd be surprised if this goes off bigger than 4/1. If it doesn't, we've probably done our money before the race even starts.

The trainer had an AW debutant smashed up at Chelmsford, and everything went wrong. He's one to watch for patterns, and I think he's found an ideal race to have a good go at this one. It's a poor race and a well-bred horse that he's picked up for next to nothing from powerful connections. Clearly, it isn't a world-beater, but I'd be amazed if it isn't capable of getting involved in a race as bad as this.
