South Shore's form on paper does look off putting however looks can be deceiving and a deeper analysis of this individual tells a whole different story was last seen at this venue racing at the 6 furlong trip where finishing last of 8 however he was returning from a 152 day break and most certainly needed that run likely to be more adjusted back home as he joined this yard last year from the Karl Burke stable and he did win of a mark of 75 with that stable he is now operating on mark 68 now surely a 4yo gelded son of Blue Point who was capable of winning of a mark of 75 last year is likely to have a very big performance in the locker of a mark of 68 and he did switch yards at a crucial stage of his career a monster E/W price at the time of writing he is worth the interest and if on song as he should be he could cause a shock in the finale and if he is to settle for a silver medal at the very least it wouldn't be so bad given the odds on offer

My vote here goes to the monster E/W price Opec who is the complete outsider of this 18 horse field at the time of writing however this is no horse to overlook and he must be taken as a very serious E/W proposition scored a hat-trick of wins towards the end of 2024 and was last seen at Kempton 20 days ago where finishing last of 5 in the Ladbrokes Adonis Grade 2 Hurdle being headed after a mistake 2 out however Opec is the type of horse that can quickly bounce back and here at Cheltenham outsiders do tend to spring a surprise so theirs no reason why Opec shouldn't go well as a good analysis of this of this JCB Triumph Grade 1 Hurdle clearly shows that Opec is worth his enrollment in this race a frame finish alone would be highly profitable in this scenario and this price definitely looks of good value in my point of view capable of causing shocker likely to be more than 3 places on offer in this with some firms if you shop around

An interesting looking British Stallions Studs EBF Mares NH flat class 1 listed race with my vote going to Charisma Cat a very smooth and strong travelling type who was last seen at Market Rasen 50 days ago where finishing a very promising just denied 2nd/10 under a very patient ride in 3rd place on that occasion was Dream Shadow who also runs here and is likely going to have to settle behind Charisma Cat yet again Charisma Cat also met a bit of trouble in that race forcing her to use precious stamina to get in a better position 9f out but she kept on with tons on promise making up a decent amount of ground in a very short space of time making that performance an impressive one under the circumstances and she did score impressively on her only 2 previous assignments and was unlucky not to gain the hat-trick of wins last time out Alan King's inmate must be considered the leading player here and a smart prospect with jockey Tom Cannon likely to give it his best shot merits serious consideration here

Yorkstone is of a lot more interest than the form book is suggesting was last seen at Southwell 8 days ago where finishing 6th/10 however he was way too close to a very strong pace level that was set which wasn't ideal for Yorkstone's nature of going however he is worth another chance here as this race should be run to suit and he is currently operating on extremely dangerous mark of 54 that is a total of 11lb below his last winning mark and he is more than capable of getting of this sort of mark if things drop right as I expect they should given a good analysis of this class 5 handicap jockey Lewis Chalkley takes of a very valuable looking 7lb which enhances his good looking claims here
