My vote to take this class 4 handicap will be going to A Major Payne a gelded son of Harry Angel & Thankful ( Dam's sire Diesis ) who packs plenty of punch and potential and is best not judged on his most recent outing at Chelmsford 13 days ago where finishing 15th/16 as he looked to have a good race in him when angled out to challenge however he unluckily met trouble in running being denied a clear run at a very crucial stage of the race and as you can imagine a 16 horse field at Chelmsford couldn't have been easy to get back into contention after that resulting in him quickly getting out of contention however this race is a whole different scenario and M L W Bell's inmate remains with all potential and is more than capable of bouncing back especially now returning to a suitable turf track in a race that should be run to suit very well can be a whole different proposition this time out must be taken seriously . Respected .

Pysanka has immediately caught my attention here and anyone following will likely know why as i selected him to win 8 days ago over this course and distance and he won at a handsome price of 12/1 proving my statement that this is no horse to overlook over this course and distance and has found another excellent opportunity just 8 days on carries a penalty here for that success however that is of no concern and he has been very competitive of this sort of mark before that being a mark of 63 D M Loughnane's inmate is likely to give this a very good shot and he also looks to be the fitest in the line up and can put that to good effect here in a race that shouldn't take much winning jockey Edward Greatrex takes the ride an can steer Pysanka to another success here

Manila Scouse's form on paper may seem off putting however looks can be deceiving and a deeper analysis of this individual tells a whole different story his last couple of races of his 2024 campaign where in very big field handicaps where he can be excused and was last seen making his seasonal reappearance at Pontefract 18 days ago where finishing last of 10 however a line is best drawn over that run as he most certainly was in need of the outing and he did have a wide trip throughout and dirited even wider out turning for the home straight resulting in him losing his pace and eventually got left behind but that has at least got a run into him and arrives here fitter from the outing and in very good heart operating back on a more lenient mark that being 85 just 2lb above his last winning mark and this mark is within range likely to better positioned in this 7 horse scenario that should suit well Manila Scouse can bounce back to form with jockey Amie Waugh taking off 3lb which only enhances his good looking claims here
