6-year-old gelding sired by Hold Roman Emperor hasn't won since June 24 but has run a few decent races, getting placed since. He can handle the softer going. Runs off a very attractive handicap mark, and I like the jockey booking today. He's an Each Way price, so I'm having an Each Way tickle for a change.

3-year-old gelding sired by Calyx is back to his last winning mark. He seems to run his best races for this jockey and will be quite happy on the ground. Down a notch in class from his last race, he should go close.

5 year old Gelding Sired by Harbour Law ran a decent race last time here and didn't have the best passage through. Down a lb since last run. Has attracted money in the market. Good run expected.

4-year-old gelding sired by Exceed And Excel has run some good races here over course and distance and goes well in the slow going. He has a new jockey on today that might just make the difference. Can front run and has a decent draw if they pop him out.

4-year-old gelding Siured by Churchill ran a close 2nd two runs back over course and distance. He is trying and in good form. He carries weight well and is joint top-weighted today. He has a decent draw and can front run. New jockey on today who rides this course well.

2 year old filly sired by Lucky Vega is having her 5th race and 2nd handicap run. She is having a step up in trip and on breeding this should suit along with the soft going. Good run expected.

4-year-old Havana Grey filly hasn't managed to get her head in front since January 24, although she has run well here on a couple of occasions, including going close 3 runs back. She has a decent draw today and has come down in the weights due to some lacklustre performances. Breeding suggests she will be fine with the good to soft going, although she hasn't run on it much. Maybe today, from this draw, she can put her best hoof forward.
