Liadawn has been entered in a few races recently but pulled out presumably because of the ground. With the heavy downpours at this track yesterday there should be no problem today. She has got a wonderful pedigree for National Hunt racing and is related to numerous winners. She looks like another likely winner for the master trainer Willie Mullins.

It is hard to forget the incredible performance Bedtime Story put up in the Chesham this time last year at Ascot, when she slaughtered a decent Listed class field. Horses generally need a break between races (probably 2 to 6 weeks depending on the type and length of race), but I have noticed over the years that when horses have a race only a day after they have run (which doesn't happen often), they usually run very well, and that applies to Tolstoy today. He ran a blinder to finish second at this track yesterday and he could go very well again today.

Back on a softer surface she should bounce back to win this. Blue Bolt is the obvious danger and she looked pretty useful at Windsor last time.

Willie Mullins and Gordon Elliott both have likely candidates for this race, but it could be worth a small interest at the price on Look and Sea. He is a half-brother to Fiddlerontheroof, who achieved a very high rating of 155. His trainer, Martin Brassil, doesn't have the greatest record in bumpers, i.e., 5% over the last 5 years, but that goes up to over 33% for placed horses, and he knows the time of day.
