Leader In The Park still looks well handicapped after winning nicely last time at Kempton. He has a fantastic pedigree with Supreme Leader on the dam side and he should continue to improve. He was reported by Ben Pauling to be suffering from a cracked rib last season when they were expecting much more as they really like him and hopefully he can start to fulfill his potential.

This is an absolute cracker of a bumper and it is difficult to desert Supreme Malinas who did us a favour last time out but at the prices I have to suggest Idaho Sun as an each way selection, who just touched off the former first time out in what has turned out to be a very good bumper at Newton Abbott. This race is packed with future good horses but Harry Fry has just hit form and it is hoped that Idaho Sun can improve enough to go close here.

Some useful looking horses line up here but at a massive price, I cannot resist a small each way bet on Fox Cottage. He has a good pedigree especially on the dam side which includes many former top National Hunt horses such as Alflora, Kings Ride and Deep Run. His trainer can have winners in this sphere and at big prices, so hopefully he can outrun his odds.

This looks like a hot bumper, and Kop Land for Sam Thomas is one that takes the eye. Sam always has his bumper horses ready to roll first time out, and this horse is closely related to the very useful Good Risk At All. Necronaut for Paul Nicholls was very expensive and looks a big danger on pedigree, but Nicholls' bumper horses have not been quite as consistent this season. This time of year isn't his best, as he tends to flu jab his horses. Bossman Jack is also tempting as he is a half-brother to Gidleigh Park, but the stable jockey has gone to Newcastle, which would be a bit of a negative.

These 4yo bumpers are tricky as there tends to be a mix of flat bred and national hunt bred types. I always go for the National Hunt types and Tullow Troop looks worth a small interest on pedigree.
