Surprised to see this one at such a big price. The top two at the weights deserve to be at the top of the betting, and the Irish horse Sam Xpress could be one of them. But with Gale up, a drop in trip, good breeding, and the yard in okay form, it's worth a punt.

Short price favorite, but for good reason. From a powerful yard, it ran a really good race on debut, beaten by a Cox horse with the third winning and running to a 90. This should be straightforward with some low standard opposition.

Spent some time looking at this one. It comes down to 4 horses, and with odds on offer, it's too hard to turn these down. Spencer has some okay horses and is running well. This has some decent siblings who handle the ground. Last run can be ignored, and I can see this one running well over its mark, thrown in with the allowance. Let's see.

It looks like 3-year-olds with the allowance will dominate this race. Although I do like Jancis, who always runs a good race. But at the odds, I'm backing the Ed Walker horse, who has a couple of good runs with the trip seemingly doing for him last time out.

This looks like another battle of the 3-year-olds with the weight allowance. The strongest of these looks to be War Howl, who has strong form, and with Doyle up, I'm expecting a big run. I did like Hieronymous, but so badly drawn. However, at 28/1, it's worth a saver just in case.
