I know there is a lot of reasons to respect words of truth BUT I have been following DIVISION and he is just as progressive and has a wonderfully honest attitude to his races. This horse has won 3 out of 4 times on similar going and over today's trip and is 2 from 2 under jockey James Doyle. William Haggas's strike rate with his runners over 6f is over 30% which is higher than most trainers. Horses from this yard have been in great form of late and having won a listed race he's very high on the shortlist here.

BINTARYANA is interesting here, having cost a cool 160,000 guineas. She's related to a top-class performer, Diligent Harry, who won over this trip right up to Group 3 level. Should have a good chance from a decent draw.

She's come placed off today's mark and over the trip, so there are plenty of reasons to be positive about her chances here. This trainer and jockey combo are 1 win from 4 runs, which is promising. She's by Territories, who's a must-follow sire in sprint races. Must be at least worth a place in this field.

MELODIC looks to me to tick all the boxes. She's a beautifully bred daughter of Fastnet Rock (brings the turn of foot) out of a mare by Xaar, who was a high-class 1m/1m 2f performer. Her price tag of 400,000 guineas is particularly noteworthy, and I believe that with that breeding, she should be a classy performer in time. William Haggas has a 26.67% SR at Nottingham, and his 3-year-olds have a near 25% SR in 2025. With Tom Marquand on board, all the signs are this horse is the one to side with! Even more so given that Haggas's milers have been in fine form in 2025, and his yard has been really firing so far this month.

ROYAL ACCORD has to have a good chance in this. He does have a poor result to overcome, but if you look at his stats 215217 in that cycle, he's due. The trainer's record at Lingfield is pretty good (25.93% SR), and following his 3-year-old runners is very profitable to follow (£62.67 profit to a £1 stake if backing all runners (IBAR) in 2025). Well worth a small amount EW.

I'd only back PERDY IN PARIS for small amounts first time out, but I always follow Territories in a sprint, and I have a feeling that it could result in a place here. The trainer has a 29.41% SR at Lingfield in 2025, and his 6f horses are profitable to follow. It's a case of hoping for a place.

TURKU is a very interesting newcomer here. He may not have cost a fortune, but he has got nice breeding and is trained by Simon Crisford, who has a 30% SR on the all-weather ????? in the last fortnight! He's managed to get a good draw. I can't see him failing to make the places here. Worth noting today's jockey has a 50% SR. All in all, he's a decent bet.

RUNMAN is a beautifully bred individual that looks set to run very well on debut. Gosden has a 37.5% strike rate at Salisbury in 2025, which must be respected, as does the 34.41% SR when Oisin Murphy rides for him. A decent 27.17% SR over today's trip just adds to the positives, as does the yard being 1 win from 3 runs in October so far. Huge player.

I know it goes completely against the grain to tip against Charlie Appleby at Newmarket BUT I'm siding with ARCHER ROYAL here. Gosden's horses have been in great shape and this horse won going away having shown a nice turn of foot in the last furlong. John Gosden knows what it takes to win a race like this so the fact he's pitched this horse into a Group 3 race tells me plenty about how much Gosden rates him! Big player here.

Andrew Balding and Oisin Murphy have been banging in the winners all over the place of late. I know the two at the head of the market are strong candidates, but I'm going to side with MOONLIGHT WARRIOR to be in the places. Both sire and dam's sire were top class over the trip and further, so I expect this trip to suit. Trainer's strike rates in this class of race and in races over this trip are around the 20% mark. Small stakes each way advised.

I really like the look of this horse, a Kingman colt out of an unbeaten mare in Maybe. She won the Moyglare. There are horses with similar lineage, and they have all been in the early 110s in terms of rating. That bodes well for this horse in this maiden, as that's a rating off group performers! DEMIDOFF looks overpriced at 12/1!
