A race on soft ground over a marathon distance. Not all the runners will finish this race. Don Brocco has shown very little recent form, but he has run well in this race before on soft ground. He finished second on heavy ground in 2024 and last year he finished third on good to soft ground. He is a big price today and is running out of the handicap, but his form in this specialist race has persuaded me to have a small bet.
