In the first round, he had a tremendous victory in five sets against the third seed Zverev and I wonder how he will react to that immense victory. Garin could surprise him here and could ride his own good fortune after getting into the first round as a lucky loser, by thriving on Rinderknech's inconsistency.

These two players have had a contrasting amount of grass court play this season. Brooksby has played plenty, learning how to play on grass in his eleven matches. He reached the final of the tournament at Eastbourne last week and won his first-round match here in straight sets against an in-form player. His opponent today has only played four grass court matches in his build-up. I expect a much closer match than the odds suggest, and that signals that Brooksby is worth taking.

Tien was beaten by today's opponent last month on a fast grass court. Tien is young, learning how to play on grass and is improving. He beat Shelton last week in Malaga and won his first round match at Wimbledon in straight sets. In contrast, Jarry had quite a battle in his first round match needing to win by a deciding set. Finally, the conditions today will be different to when these two players faced each other last month. Then the court was fast. Conditions today could well be a touch slower as it is quite damp in London. This will suit Tien and give him a chance of the win.

I give Basilashvili a chance here. He has come through three matches of qualification to reach the first round, so seems to mean business. He reached the third round at Wimbledon last year but does face a player who reached the semi finals last year. However, Musetti reached the semi finals at the French Open, had to retire and hasn't played since. No warm up tournaments for Musetti and here he is playing a best of five sets match. You may prefer to take the handicap on Basilashvili, but I will jump in with the win only.
