I’ve been following horse racing for over 30 years now and although it can be very frustrating at times (most times) but when the betting God’s are on your side it’s great. Although 33/1 shots are fantastic, my idea of value is a winner. I like watching maiden races looking for horses finishing off their races well or being unlucky in running to back next time out also handicappers at favourite tracks, back down to winnable marks with a jockey up who regularly wins for the stable. Another stable in flying form is William Haggas, and Earthwatch must have a great chance here. Had been running well in defeat before winning doing handstands at Sandown. Hit with a whopping 11lb by the handicapper but looked an improving type, and second and third in the Sandown race have gone in since.
