Managed to overcome greenness on debut at the Curragh 15 days ago to win a shade easy. The stable has won this race seven times, so it knows exactly what type of horse is needed for success. Great chance to get the all-conquering stable/jockey combination off to a flyer.

One of the toughest races in the flat season and a race you should probably leave alone. I do like the chances of Shout. He has won over course and distance, beating 16 runners, then finished fourth of 20 runners five weeks later, again over course and distance. He had two runs this season when down the field, then a York third last time was a step in the right direction. Jack Callan claiming 3 lb will also help. Great each-way chance.

Daryz was odds-on in places for this race and is now 2/1 due to the strength in the market of Ombudsman. He won this race last year even though lots went wrong in the race. Great chance to win again.

Oisin Murphy said in an interview at Windsor last week that Galiyan was his best chance of a winner this week. He was 5/1 at the time, now much shorter, but looks the most likely winner. Plenty of other tipsters have also napped the selection. Great chance.

Both wins at Naas over 6 furlongs, the latest in a Group 3 which has produced plenty of Royal Ascot winners. Each-way price for this Aidan O'Brien runner seems a good place to start in a tough race.

I liked Valiancy in this race, but I can't have Ascending out of the frame. At the prices it's a no-brainer. Won over 2 miles 4 furlongs at Ascot last year, then finished second behind Ethical Diamond in the Ebor. Ethical Diamond then won the Breeders' Cup Turf next time up. Best form in the race and clearly a horse that can carry big weights. Great each-way chance at 12/1.

Haatem won this race last year and this will have been the target again. He beat the re-opposing Galen, King's Gambit and Enfjaar fair and square and should do so again. He should be primed to go after the pipe opener at Goodwood in May.

Reaching High was favorite for this race last year but only finished 9th. However, she was only beaten by a little over 3 lengths and was caught short of room between 2F and 1F, then eased once her chance was gone. Ryan Moore is on again today, and this will have been the target. Great chance to make amends.

Bow Echo looked like the real deal in the 2,000 Guineas at Newmarket, beating Gstaad by 2¾ lengths. He showed an electric turn of foot that day. There is no reason that Aidan O'Brien's inmate should turn the tables, and because the selection has scared off most of the opposition here, he must be the NAP of the meeting!

Aidan O'Brien knows what it takes to win this race, as does Ryan Moore. Ryan has jumped off Great Barrier Reef, who remains unbeaten, to ride Confucius. You've got to trust his judgment, as he doesn't get it wrong very often.
