Been running fairly consistently throughout the winter and picked up a victory at Wolverhampton in December. Only 10th start on grass today because he needs a slower surface but he'll get that here and is on a very interesting mark compared to his turf form from last spring so would be no surprise to see him run very well.

Only 2-43 but picked up first win for Jacqueline Coward in October and has been running fairly consistently ever since. Not one for anything more than a speculative investment but is on career low mark so she should be capable of picking up another victory soon.

Only 1-32 but that win did come over 7 furlongs here last season and ran well over 6 back on turf here earlier this month. Step up to a mile today shouldn't be an issue and, while he's not one for maximum faith given his record, he's only been out of the first 2 once in 6 visits here so should run well in his quest for that 2nd career victory.

Refused to race after rearing in stalls at Thirsk on Saturday but willing to give him another chance as he's surely a winner waiting to happen off this mark.

Progressed nicely last term, picking up three wins in seven starts. Didn't manage to win during all weather campaign but posted some solid efforts and now returns to turf on same mark as when winning here this time last year so would be no surprise to see him run very well this evening.

Formerly very smart but not shown that level of form for a while now, though continues to slip down the weights as a result and ran okay behind a progressive rival on reappearance at Thirsk. Down another 2lb and will surely take advantage of this mark sooner rather than later.

Showed plenty of promise in bumpers and hurdles for Nicky Henderson and broke his duck for Willie Mullins over fences when landing last year's Irish National. Landed a grade one novice chase on reappearance and, after being outclassed a couple of times behind Galopin Des Champs, bolted up in the BobbyJo Chase back at Fairyhouse when last seen in February. That race is often the best Irish trial for this race and therefore, with ground and trip unlikely to be an issue, this son of Authorized should take an awful lot of beating.

Showed good form over hurdles and broke his duck at the third attempt over fences when winning a 3 runner event at Exeter in February. Very solid 2nd behind Shakem Up'arry in the Plate at Cheltenham, finishing well after some novicey jumping. Step up in trip should be right up his street and open to plenty of improvement so should be bang there this afternoon.

Well beaten in three all weather runs since the turn of the year but he's a better horse on turf and they've helped to put him on a very interesting mark for this return to his favoured surface so should run well this afternoon.
