3rd over 7f here in a Class 5 on final run for previous trainer off a mark of 68.2 Runs for this stable were over 1m in a Class 5 and over 7f in a Class 4. Both his wins have been over this 6f trip, and the latest of those was in a Class 5 handicap off a mark of 70. Now drops into a Class 6 for the first time off a career low mark of just 64. Surely must at least make the frame for his in form stable.

No attempt from the jockey to win the race last time out. Made ground to join the leaders out wide before sitting pretty motionless in the straight. Looks capable of better, but after seeing the massive drift in the betting so far this morning, it will almost certainly be a similar lack of effort to get a low handicap mark. This doesn't look a very strong race, though, and at this price I don't mind risking a few quid each way in case they do make some effort.
