That’s me done with horse racing for a while.over the past month I’ve seen nothing but cheating from jockeys.losing is one thing but to see the jockey intentionally make sure they don’t even place is just disgraceful after people spend their precious time studying and hard earned money placing a bet.I think all involved in horse racing should realise without the honest punter there would be no bookies and therefore no horse racing

Backed from 12/1 into 5/2 last time out before drifting to 4/1 after the jockey won the previous race and therefore got the pathetic ride expected. Blatant cheating in my opinion. Comfortably won a maiden the only time he has worn cheek pieces, and they return today. Worth another go at this sort of trip and, although only seven runners, three places are on offer. Can do better 2 lb lower.

Last time out sat at the back. Travelled well and jumped well, but in my opinion blatant cheating since the jockey sat completely motionless the whole way. Similar story the time before over course distance. from 29 is worrying but not likely to change if ridden like the last twice. 2 lbs lower today. Has finished 2nd six times and 3rd twice. Could easily be capable of taking one of the five places on offer.

Yet to win a race but has ran well on all starts since joining this stable, although given far too much to do on occasions. Last time out probably should have won but was stuck behind a wall of horses for most of the home straight and was tamely ridden when in the clear. 1 lb lower here and should have a great chance if running as well on this surface.

Brought down two runs ago and well beat last time out. That was a better race than this, though, and is another 2 lb lower. Was a close third in this race last year with the two in front again running here. The winner is 14 lb higher and the second looks way out of form but could be a danger. The king of PRs has won twice before on the third run back from a break and should at least take one of the six places on offer.

4 runs at this venue. Ran out 2 from home when 4 lengths ahead in a maiden in 2022. Won this race in 2023 and finished a close 2nd in this race last year. Fourth run here was on return from a break and also her first start over fences in October. Another run over fences last time, but those last two runs look like a warm-up for another crack at this race. Shouldn't be far away with conditions to suit off the same mark as last year, with the jockey taking off an extra 3 lbs.

Asking a lot for a 9-year-old to get a win off a mark higher than he has before, but he wasn't beaten far over 6f here last time out. The time before, also over the same course and distance, he should've placed at 50/1 but was very tamely ridden. That was in the same class as this, so he can run a decent race at decent odds here off this 1 lb lower mark.

Still only the one win to his name, and with the poor rides recently he's going to struggle. Held way off the pace and not allowed to run over course distance in September. Still only beat about 2.5 lengths at the line and is now 8 lbs lower. Shouldn't be far away with Neil Callan a decent booking.

Ended life for previous trainer with a tame ride at Kempton and not much better in three runs for this trainer. Not beaten too far last time out, and the stable is among the winners recently. Has had one run over course distance, which was a close third in January off a mark of 76 in a Class 4. Shouldn't be far away now, running off just 64, 9 lbs below his last winning mark.

A few negatives about this one. The horse is yet to win a race. The trainer is without a winner for nearly a year. The inexperienced jockey has never ridden a winner, and a visor is added for the first time. However, this horse ran well here on his last two runs, which were over 1m2f, when travelling well and in the lead until late on. Nudged up another 1 lb, but the drop back in trip can suit and the jockey is taking off 10 lbs. Worth a small each-way.
