Aisling Oscar's reign has to come to a stop eventually, and that could be today. Market confidence is low behind him, too. Bajan Bandit won off a 9 lb higher mark about a year ago. He's down in class 5 again after having a few starts in stronger races. I believe he's capable of grabbing a place in this at least.

Well bred, ex-Varian inmate, started his career brightly back in 2024 until falling off the wagon and being sold on. His mark has now fallen low enough for him to enter this Class 5 event, and he's been nibbled at in the market. An interesting one for sure.

Paradias ran a great race in Wolverhampton last time, coming back from a long seasonal layoff. He was slightly unlucky in the final stages, having to switch around for a run and ended up challenging wide, whereas the eventual winner hugged the rail throughout. He should be sharper today, and I see him firmly in the mix. Won over CD off 1 lb lower a year ago.
