My NAP of the day, Charming Whisper utilises a jockey claim to race 2lb lighter than when winning over C&D last time out and can go again. Call me crazy, but Sir Edward Lear and Show Biz Kid are being heavily slept on, with the former coming back to GF ground and the latter bouncing back well back in C5 company last time out.

It was a bit of a toss-up between the selection and Forever My Prince, with both impressive runners-up. She's The Duchess had a ½ length dead heat 2nd a while back, and Forever My Prince was a ½ length 2nd last time out.

My top 3 is pretty much a certainty for this one. Revolutionise just edges things for me, dropping down in class after two impressive runs in class 4 company, and can take this one over Marlay Park, who also ran two good races before this. Silver Trumpet is another on my radar, having finished a 1l runner-up from 2lb heavier on the flat the race before last.

Another small field, and Telecommunication can find the line after finishing less than a length off the lead last time out at the same weight. Woodstock City could be good value with a close 2nd under its belt this year from 6lb heavier, and Media Mogul rounds out my top 3 if coping with a 4lb penalty.

After finishing a 4l or so off the winner last time out, Huxley receives a 7lb weight drop, as well as a drop in class, and can take advantage of penalties for San Francisco Bay and Offiah's Boy. Pure Theory could be up there, too, having finished a 1l or so 3rd over C&D from 1lb heavier than this, previously.

A tentative pick, as this feels like a tough race to call. I'm backing Smooth Silesie, though, a 4-time flat winner who finished a neck second from today's weight over the distance, and seems as good a pick as any. Any of the top 4 have a chance in this one, though.
