Hi I target the biggest horse races of the week (both codes) using historical trends, comparing the stats of previous winners and narrowing the field finding the value bet. I also use my own personal notes and information from my tracker as I stat-profile thoroughbreds throughout the week for my own personal enjoyment. I recommend a 40 point betting bank, simple 1 point win bets or 0.5 point e/w bets and I try and get the earliest possible price on BOG often placing my bets at 8am in the morning or 2 days earlier if I want to grab the price. My process is a patient bank building method that builds profit steadily over the year and not to mention the fun involved. These are the biggest races of the week and provide hours of entertainment on a race day. I stake sensibly, all my tips are 1 point win or 0.5 point e/w bets. I’m not a high roller, I’m a family man who enjoys betting on racing and spend any extra cash I make on my young family although I do spend a lot of time and effort doing this and take my betting very seriously. Well drawn in 6, this race has historically produced plenty of winning favourites, and I'm surprised the selection isn't priced a lot shorter. His form stands out in this field.

Two runners with an OR in the 70s have won this in recent years, and this outsider is not without a chance. The training partnership has run five 4+ runners at the track, getting two winners and a 2nd place, so they're profitable to follow around here. They've also finished 1st and 2nd with Probert riding 4+ runners for them, and he's won or placed with over a third of his 4+ rides at the track. The gelding was a reliable handicapper last season, and he's won previously on the ground.

The selection has been threatening to win a graded race for a while. He drops back to 2m 4f today, and his last win was over the distance. He's been running respectably in some really hot races this season, and the price looks good value with some bookies paying 4 places. Ignoring a Cheltenham handicap last time out, the gelding has rarely finished outside the first 4, even in hotter races than this one.

This filly's form reads 2 1 1 2 1 4 over listed and below, and her 4th place last time out in October was on unsuitable heavy ground. She had one of her wins on good/firm ground previously. The yard's 3-year-olds are profitable to follow at the track, and all her wins and places have come under Billy Loughnane, who's also profitable to follow riding 3-year-olds at Bath. Her price has shortened from its opening 20/1 on Friday afternoon, so her credentials haven't gone unnoticed.

The mare comes here off the back of a decent run at the festival, finishing 5th in the Grade 2 Mares Novices' Hurdle, a race that's produced a few winners of this listed contest in its previous 8 renewals. She finished that race very strongly indeed at a huge price, and the extra 3 1/2 furlongs look to be to her advantage.

The favourite might be worth taking on today, the selection found group company a bit hot on his last 2 starts but drops down in grade today after 3 successes in handicaps. The yard have won this race a few times and they've been successful from stall 1 with 4 runners previously.

Shortlisted alongside the favorite who's been off the track for 62 days and last raced at Sandown, which isn't the ideal prep for this race. I've taken the value option and backed Stellar Story 11/1 e/w despite its drift. The selection has finished 2nd the last twice, including Cheltenham LTO, and the trainer has a decent record at this meeting.

Ran well earlier in the month on his first start for a new yard, won a German group 3 for Balding last year and he seems to have been overlooked.
