Hi I target the biggest horse races of the week (both codes) using historical trends, comparing the stats of previous winners and narrowing the field finding the value bet. I also use my own personal notes and information from my tracker as I stat-profile thoroughbreds throughout the week for my own personal enjoyment. I recommend a 40 point betting bank, simple 1 point win bets or 0.5 point e/w bets and I try and get the earliest possible price on BOG often placing my bets at 8am in the morning or 2 days earlier if I want to grab the price. My process is a patient bank building method that builds profit steadily over the year and not to mention the fun involved. These are the biggest races of the week and provide hours of entertainment on a race day. I stake sensibly, all my tips are 1 point win or 0.5 point e/w bets. I’m not a high roller, I’m a family man who enjoys betting on racing and spend any extra cash I make on my young family although I do spend a lot of time and effort doing this and take my betting very seriously. First-time cheekpieces go on the gelding who had his prep race in the 4YO Rated Hurdle at Naas last time out, and 4 out of the last 6 Fred Winter winners have run in that race. The selection was a beaten favorite in that, where a mistake halted his progress to finish 4th. However, in his previous 2 runs, he placed twice in 16-runner fields, so bigger field sizes suit the Irish runner. He's also rated 125, as are 2 of the last 4 winners of the race. B365 are offering 6 places and a 25% price boost, so he looks good value.

The trainer won a distance class 3 handicap chase on Thursday, and his chasers have been in really good form this month. The selection finished 2nd in a class 2 chase last time out. He's only gone up 2 lbs, and this race looks easier. The gelding has run his best races in fields of 8 or fewer, so conditions are very suitable.

Finally came good over fences last time out over his furthest distance yet: 3 miles 2 furlongs. He finished strongly, looking like an extra 4 furlongs might be an advantage. The claimer stays on board, who has claimed a top 2 finish twice after riding the gelding 3 times. Despite his bigger price, he could well be the stronger of the yard's 2 runners.
