Hi I target the biggest horse races of the week (both codes) using historical trends, comparing the stats of previous winners and narrowing the field finding the value bet. I also use my own personal notes and information from my tracker as I stat-profile thoroughbreds throughout the week for my own personal enjoyment. I recommend a 40 point betting bank, simple 1 point win bets or 0.5 point e/w bets and I try and get the earliest possible price on BOG often placing my bets at 8am in the morning or 2 days earlier if I want to grab the price. My process is a patient bank building method that builds profit steadily over the year and not to mention the fun involved. These are the biggest races of the week and provide hours of entertainment on a race day. I stake sensibly, all my tips are 1 point win or 0.5 point e/w bets. I’m not a high roller, I’m a family man who enjoys betting on racing and spend any extra cash I make on my young family although I do spend a lot of time and effort doing this and take my betting very seriously. Balding's runner won this in 2022. He's 8 now, and 8-year-olds have won this before, unlike Trueshan, who joined the selection on the top of the trends list. But Alan King's runner is 9 now, and he's just become a non-runner as I type this. Coltrane is now the oldest horse in the race, and he's not run in a race as lowly classed as this since winning this in 2022. He's not disgraced himself in higher class company, and this is the weakest field he's run against in some time.

He's been off the track since September and been gelded. Recently gelded horses have won this race before, and he's just switched stables to Haggas, who has a decent record when he races a stable switcher. The 13/2 available looks huge if Haggas has him firing.

Both the selections' races this year have produced a few subsequent winners and decent performances in quality races. He didn't try last time out on turf but finished only 3/4 of a length behind Royal Zabeel in a listed race at Wolves in March. I've got my money down early, expecting the odds to shorten on Saturday, and the biggest price winner of the race since it's been on an all-weather surface has been 12/1. The trainer and jockey have a decent record at the track, and the current price looks huge.

The only thing going against the selection is the draw in stall 10, but the gelding is likely to overcome that. All his wins have come on the all-weather, with 2 wins and a 3rd in all his starts. He's risen 8 lbs and gone up in class since his last win, but his ceiling hasn't been reached yet.

Trainer won this race last year, the filly's won 4 handicaps and has a very similar profile to Mark Johnson's 2019 winner who also had a successful handicap career. She's ran respectably in her previous 3 class 1 races and she's the pick of the yards pair they're running in this.

Balding colt looks like a massive price, he's won at group 2 level and his g/f is 2 3 1 2 and he placed in the Hampton Court stakes last year. He ran badly lto but he clearly dislikes any ground softer than good.

She's worth an e/w wager looking at her previous race at Newmarket where she lost the race in the final furlong so the drop in trip isn't a negative.
