Majborough was beaten at odds-on last in the Arkle, while Il Etait Temps hasn't finished closer than eight lengths in his last three appearances at the Festival, leaving both Mullins horses short enough at the head of affairs. L'Eau du Sud ran a good race in last year's Arkle, just running out of stamina up the hill, suggesting he could go close once again. Saint Segal has only run once at the Festival, back in 2022, and, interestingly, hasn't run at Cheltenham since. His last two graded races have seen him finish second to Lulamba and Thistle Ark, which is fair form in context. His form last season showed improvement, and he could go well at generous odds.

Seems to always run his heart out at the Cheltenham Festival, running in the Stayers' Hurdle on his last two occasions. Obviously not getting any younger, though on a fair mark to make another bold bid.
