The trainer doesn't run many here, and this one making his handicap debut is worth a small each way in a poor race.

Made his debut here for the stable a couple of weeks ago. Held up out the back after being hampered, he cruised into the race coming into the straight before a mistake 4 out put him on the back foot. He was allowed to come home in his own time in sixth. Interesting that Sean Bowen keeps the ride, and the race has already thrown up a winner in the horse that finished fourth. I'll take an each-way chance at the price.

Finished third in a Class 1 at Haydock last time out. A stat I do like about this one is 10 runs on right-handed tracks has resulted in 6 wins from 10 starts. Only a 5-year-old, he has lots of scope for improvement and looks a decent each-way bet.

Taking a chance on this at a big price. Finished 3rd on both runs over course and distance last summer off much bigger handicap marks. Had a recent run where he pulled up for his new stable after six months off. Not sure about the jockey, but he can claim 10 lbs, which effectively puts him on a mark of 90 compared to 110 when he was running okay last summer. Worth a small each way, especially if you can get the extra place.

I backed this lad last time out when he finished third. I'm hoping the longer gap between his races this time will help him. The youngest horse in the race, his record over fences reads 2 wins, 2 places from 6 starts. Hopefully, this will improve tomorrow.

I think this is a fair each way bet. Finished an unlucky second in this race 2 years ago after a race at Kempton in March. They have repeated that prep this year and hopefully go one place better.
