Gets the cheekpieces for the first time, but the thing that makes me interested is the track. Admittedly, it's his first time at Punchestown, but he has a career record of 5 wins from 5 runs when going right-handed. So hopefully, this puts him in with a good each-way shout.

Taking a chance that a winner the other day signals a return to form of the Venetia Williams yard. This one has a great record at Ascot with 4 wins from 5 starts, so Sandown should hold no fears. Neither should the ground. So with a nice racing weight, I'll take a chance each way.

Made a promising return 20 days ago after his winter break. The decent ground here should suit him, unlike some of the others who would prefer it softer. He has course form, and the Bowen stable is in form at the moment.

I like the look of this old-timer here. He was second in the race last year off a similar handicap mark. The choice of Mark Walsh, the heavy ground will be right up his street, and with 6 places available in places, he looks a good each-way bet.

Hopefully, the ground here has remained fairly good as she has shown her best form on a sound surface. She ran well in a Class 1 last time. She drops to Class 4 here, having won twice last spring. Looks worth chancing each way here with 4 places available.

This looks like a cracking each-way bet to me. Six runs at the course have resulted in a second and five wins, including this race a couple of years ago. The icing on the cake for me is the form of his small stable, who have had three winners from their last five runners.

Has to be an each way bet at the price in this race. He boasts 4 wins from 24 runs over hurdles. The rest of the field between them have 4 from well over 100 runs, and 2 of those were in France 3 years ago! A couple of recent runs should have him fit. The stable had a winner last night. All in all, looks a big price here.

I've always thought the 'Hennessy' was a good trial for the National, and this lad won it quite easily this season. Still unexposed, Nicholls' horses seem to be running well at the moment, and Cobden is riding superbly. At the moment, everything seems in place for a big run.

The good ground should hold no fears as Hexham winning form on it. Slightly disappointing last time out on his first run for the stable. However, his form at Cheltenham on his other two runs this season has been franked, so an each-way chance is taken here.

Lightly raced type who has won second time up each season she has raced. Ran in the Martin Pipe race at Cheltenham where she adopted front-running tactics, which are not her usual run style. That race has thrown up a couple of horses that have finished second this week. The stable has a good record in the race, and hopefully, this mare can go close here.

Won first time up this season after a run on the all-weather with Kielan Woods on top. The jockey gets back on again for the first time since then. Overall, he is 2 wins, 1 place from 6 rides on him. Interesting he had a spin on the all-weather last time out. The trainer is on a good run of form at the moment, and this looks a good each-way bet, especially if you can get 6 places.

This looks a massive price to me. He has experience of jumping around here, finishing 6th in the Sefton in December 2023. He came good around this time last year. The better ground will be ideal, and the trainer is in great form at the moment. All in all, a cracking each-way bet at the price.

I thought he ran a race of immense promise last time out, looking sure to be involved approaching the last before running out of steam, possibly just needing the run. Sheeran jumps on board. He had a record of 1 win and 1 place from his 5 rides on him. Worth an each-way bet at the price.
