She was the subject of a controversial ride last April, which resulted in her being given a 40-day ban from the track and a fine and suspension for the trainer and jockey. After 2 low-key runs this season, she was fitted with a tongue strap last time out, resulting in a comfortable victory. The equipment is retained today, and on this first go in a handicap, she looks to hold each-way claims.

Risky one after pulling up last time out in a much better race than this. His run before that was interesting! Drops into a veterans race here off a 7 lb lower mark than his last victory 2 years ago. Only had 5 runs since then. Surely goes close here if fit and well.

Am I mad going for a David Maxwell ridden horse? I'll take a chance after seeing the way this lad won his bumper at Newbury, showing a rare turn of foot. This would bring the house down if Maxwell got it home. He deserves a bit of success for the money he puts into the game.

Taking a chance with this lad at a big price. He finished off last season winning a class 2 at Aintree. Three runs this season and he has hardly beaten a rival though. He runs here off a decent mark and is worth an each way bet to return to form.
