Started as well as her pedigree reads, then improved slightly under a penalty next time out. Under this year's champion jockey again, with a good draw and first time in a handicap with a mark that could prove lenient!

Keen-going but improving filly for Botti, who's not my first choice of trainer to look for a punt from. The jockey booking makes amends, and she caught my eye with the way she finished her race last time out at Southwell behind a smarter-than-usual gelding. Kempton should be just right for her, and I'm hoping she'll improve for the extra furlong too.

I love this mare. Thought she had gone altogether last year, but Emma Lavelle has got her to put together an admirable campaign this year and arrive here in good nick. She has some unexposed types to contend with, but this girl's been there, done that and could well be the answer!

Consistent son of Kapgarde. Loves soft ground and should improve for the hike in trip. Some patchy-ish form up the top of the market. This trainer-jockey combo rates a plus. Overpriced with the places on offer.

Turned a corner for the new yard after being dropped back in trip and with an apprentice riding who really gets a fine tune out of this lad. Up in the weights in a deeper race but could still be improving now the penny has dropped.
