Watched this one hose up in horrid ground in France. Maybe the pace was too strong when beaten at Doncaster. The type to go on improving with Henderson and, under James Bowen today, he should have a big say.

Last year's Supreme winner, and a lot of his hype for today, comes from the belief that two mock 2-mile races were as good as people say they were. Given the connections, I'm inclined to trust that information. I feel Lullamba just won't be as good over 2 miles and there's more scope for improvement from kopek.

Cokoriko gelding, out of a No Risk At All mare, so not short of bragging rights on his page. Shipped to Willie’s after a good bumper win in France. Nine lengths behind Ballyfad on Boxing Day, looking beat before the last, then went on to win a lesser race with ease at Punchestown. Not form that screams Supreme Novices' Hurdle winner, but I think there's a lot more to come from this lad. Paul Townend has the ride and is overpriced for me.

My second choice in this, as my first was pulled out lame. I just think this horse has a bit more scope for improvement than Old Park Star. They've ridden him held up and he's won nicely, but I don't think he needs to be dropped in. I think they will send him up with the pace today and he may well be up taking this for Baby O'Brien!

Very consistent filly out of Sergey Prokofiev who looks to absolutely love her job. The initial thought here was maybe these might be too good for her, but there's questions the horse-watchers' fav has to answer on reappearance. I think Holly's ride might pull too hard and fade late. Middleton View is too wishy-washy, and the class act has to be Mumayaz, but today's brisk 5 might be a little much for the eldest in the field. That leaves the well-drawn filly from a yard in good form and at a good price too!

Night of Thunder gelding who definitely is better right-handed and now he's 5. Probably better with the emphasis over shorter trips too, as he ran better than the form suggests last time out over 7 furlongs ??" he just wasn't staying. Should go well, as the Chelsea Banham horse looks too high in the weights now.

One of these that looks a no-hoper, and after long enough at Tony Carroll's yard they looked to have found the instruction manual for him on his first run this year. Gave away too many lengths by missing the break last time out and emptied the tank mid-race to force the pace. If he breaks better tonight, he should fare better than the market suggests.

Coming to hand this year and relatively lightly raced for his age. Won over fences, then was denied by a lightly weighted improver back over hurdles last time out. Will get conditions to suit and may not get bothered for the lead up front, which could leave him in a good position come the last. Places for profit, but could go one better if a couple up the top falter, which is not out of the question.

Won a bumper in good style at Hexham in June last year. Was well clear of the rest when falling at the last behind what looks an above-average individual over course and distance last time. Look a big, deep-chested son of Frankel and a French winner over 10 furlongs. Outpaced over shorter and didn't stay two miles last time out. Surely has races to win at this level, and today could be his optimum trip. The Irish raider is the biggest danger, as I don't rate Busby's form or Violeta on return.
