Made the running when well handicapped before landing a Beverley handicap over 7f on good to soft ground towards the end of last season. He has yet to rediscover that level of form, but did too much too soon when finishing 12th of 22 in a 7f handicap at York 12 days ago. He is now 3 lb below his last winning mark.
