I've always thought that Brinton needs a strong jockey aboard, and I see Ron Hornby is having his third ride on the mare since claimer Olivia Tubbs's three rides earlier this year. He's ridden Brinton ten times in the past with one win, three seconds, one third, and two fourths. She ran a decent 2nd at Wolverhampton despite being very slowly away last time out, and she looks ready to go close here.

Wolf Of Badenoch began his racing career with a bang, winning a 7f maiden here on debut and then following that with an excellent second in a C1 Group 2 at Goodwood. I have no idea why things went pear-shaped in the next thirteen runs, but Wolf Of Badenoch now finds himself in his first C6, racing off a career-low of 64. The yard are patient and capable of turning a horse around, and a change of fortune could be due.
