Almost a toss-up, but I'm going to plump for the win on the former because he totally blew the start on the penultimate start but made some good late headway from last place to be just over a length away fifth. I get the feeling that seven race maiden Rift Valley has been laid out for this race as I noticed she put in a good fourth without being pushed three runs ago at Kempton and I thought the same to a lesser extent in her last two runs. All of her races so far have been C5's and here she drops to a C6. It is notable that her mark has dropped to 62 also, and Fred Daly's claim effectively puts him on 55. Fred has had four wins and twelve places from his last forty runs, whilst trainer James Fanshawe has had eight wins and twelve places from forty.
