Sir Benedict has run well since joining Ben Haslam and was a shade unlucky in finding a clear passage in two of the four races for the yard. Today is Sir Benedict's first outing at Wetherby in his 84th race, and I think the course layout could play to his strengths with regard to the pace.

Based caught my eye when a 2.5L keeping-on well second over C&D back in April, but failed to deliver next time out when a well-beaten joint-favourite on turf debut at Lingfield two weeks ago. A return here looks positive, and with a 2 lb drop in OR he should open his account.
