Definitely last chance saloon time for Wolf Of Badenoch, who has been a major disappointment following his very two starts at 2-y-o. His recent 4L seventh of eight showed he wasn't unduly pushed, ridden hands and heels only. To be honest, it was the closest he's finished since last April. Drops a further 3 lb and it will be interesting to see if the first-time eyeshields have the desired effect.

Karuma Grey caught my eye when second of eight at Ffos Las in January but disappointed in his two subsequent runs when pulled up and fell. The grey then ran a fair fifth on stable debut for Barry John Murphy, who has begun training again following an eight-year hiatus. The horse closed up late in that race, which suggests this marathon trip could be right up his street. Karuma Grey is in the top three on both TS and RPR, and Tom Cannon's Hexham stats read 2 wins from 4.
