Studied the best I could on not-fainter-friendly racecards and could see no further than the likely favourite, as she is proven on soft going, whereas some of her rivals look to prefer a fast surface. She reeled off a hat-trick last year, the last of them in a Class 4 over 7f (with yesterday’s OAD winner Cavolo Nero behind) off a first rating of 82. She only had one more run after that, which was a 2nd of 9 on Southwell’s AW, keeping on at the finish over 7f 14yds but not reaching the winner, with a rating of 86. Back on, maybe preferred, turf today with her rating having risen a manageable two to 86. Hopefully fully wound up for her seasonal debut, and interestingly H. Crouch is up for the first time.
