Ran a couple of okay races in October and November in much better than today's Class 2 and Class 3 off ratings of 114 and 110. Was then made favourite for a Class 4 last time out in December with a rating of 108 but was unlucky as he was very badly hampered by a faller 3 out and was soon pulled up. Class 4 again today off the same rating after a 52-day break.

Madrid would surely like to finish in the top eight, so three points today would go a long way in achieving that aim. They may have lost their last league game away at Leganes on Saturday, but they are a different proposition at home, where they have won their last six matches, including a CL win over Slovan Bratislava. With that home advantage today, I see them winning by the odd goal in three in a tight affair.

Was then off until December 5th, so was entitled to be a bit ring rusty in a class 5 with rating having risen to 100 from 94 and was pulled up 2 out of 2m 7f 191yds. Ran again in December on the 20th, finishing 8th of 10 in a class 5 with rating 98. Those two December runs should have him spot on today with rating down to 96 with no going worries.
