The yard has never won this race. They won't have had many better chances though with this lad. He will love the ground and has been in great form this season. He travels and jumps well. With the bad luck the yard has had, it would be no surprise to see racing turn that on its head. He has every chance.

Ultra Talented. 2nd in the Triumph. Nabbed by a 100-1 shot. Into novice company. Knowing Nicky, he wouldn't do that if he didn't think he was up to it.

I love this lad. Very talented but a bit thick. This season hasn't panned out how connections expected, but here we are. 3 miles handicap hurdle. Ran a brilliant race at Cheltenham. I expect him and Catch Him Derry to be bang there again, with Jeriko proving that he is clearly better than his current mark.

He is the class horse in the race. The national fences can really light the fire in him. I'm expecting a big run here. His stablemate James de Berlais should also run well. However, I was swayed to Blue Lord because he is a proven Grade One horse.

I love this lad. Was traveling really well at Cheltenham before making a shuddering error. Coasts home after. Last year he lost at Cheltenham but roared back at Aintree. A repeat could be on the cards here. He travels, he stays, and jumps. Yard flying. Big chance.

Simply can't be opposed, even with his fall last month in the Champion Hurdle. He's the best horse in training, in my opinion. Yes, this trip might not be his best, but does he need to be at his best? Lossiemouth is good, but she's not at his level. Cannot wait for him to silence the doubters who have started to appear.

I absolutely love this, lads. Improving but failed to fire in the King George. Suggestions he didn't travel over very well. Obviously, there is also that concern here as well as ground worries. However, he is the best horse in the race for me. I can see this being the race he announces himself. Stage Start being the main threat for me.
