Excited to see this lad up in grade. Visually very impressive on debut. Typical Twiston Davies horse. Backed up the debut with a brilliant hurdles debut earlier this month. Potentially this season Potters Charm for the yard. The yard seems to fire this time of year. Exciting individual. I think he wins well!

Going with a horse here who doesn't know how to run a bad race. Never been out of the first 4 in 11 races. Won the Gerry Feilden at Newbury last season. Placed in the valuable Premier Hurdle at Newbury. No doubts about him, he is a seriously good horse. If he brings his A-game, he could easily see this lot off. Fantastic each-way angle.

A competitive race as you would expect, but one I like is One Last Tango. Hardly a winning machine, but he's been running close a few times, and I expect him to go very close today. Trip fine, course an unknown, but should not be an issue. Ground is ideal, and he's nicely weighted. I'm sure he is better than his current mark. Mark Walsh on board, so I'm fairly hopeful he can be involved at the finish.

Brilliant race. I'm sticking with the famous green and gold. This lad was brilliant last time out and went up 10 lb. It's possible he has not stopped improving. Enda Bolger is a very shrewd trainer, so it's likely that this has been the plan for a long time. He arrives here in great form and race fit. Will run a big race. The other two McManus horses also cannot be ruled out.

Has bits and pieces of decent form. Certainly capable on her day of winning a race like this. Always runs her race. Is bottom weight in this handicap, but I'm sure she is very capable of better. Conditions fine, track should be fine. Yard having a good start to the season. Should run a solid race for sure.

Push The Button is a likeable type. He has now left the Twiston Davies yard but gave them some brilliant performances. Perhaps they expected more, but he performed with credit. Not beaten that far in the Martin Pipe or at Sandown Finale Day. So he arrives here with some decent back form and always looked the type to improve over fences. The favourite could be very good, but this lad will definitely make him fight for it. New yard, chase debut. Could be the day to catch him.

Looks like a straight shootout between the front two in the market. While Birdie or Bust is rated inferior, I am siding with her to get the job done. They met before in a beginners chase, with King of Kingsfield finishing two or so lengths in front. I think this time, the mare's chase experience could count for a lot. Yard going well, ground and trip ideal for her.

Decent bumper horse who then turned into a steady hurdler last season. Won well first time up this time last year. Failed to make the step up into graded company, just failing to get his head in front. Connections clearly think highly of him. He will be ready to rock and roll today, I'm sure of it. Win this and see where the season takes him. The Paul Nichols horse is a massive danger, but I just wonder whether he will have the toe to go with Celtic Dino. Time will tell, but I'm in the Celtic camp.

I can't understand why this lad isn't shorter in the market. Only 4 runs over hurdles fresh from the flat, winning 2/4. His two defeats came in the Triumph Hurdle and the Aintree equivalent. A summer at grass should do him good is a cliché, but at this age, it's crucial. The yard could have a decent one in their hands here. Nice races these are for those making the step from juvenile to open company. I think he can run a massive race.

Signed off last season with a brilliant victory at the Punchestown Festival. It was kind of out of the blue as in form, he wasn't really in the reckoning. He is hardly a prolific winner. Early days he ran over 3 miles and has slowly dropped back in trip, which has seen results improve. I imagine this would have been the plan a long way out. Pipe yard used to be known for handicaps, and it's interesting they fire a few bullets throughout the day. I think this lad will run well and is well worth an each-way punt.

I backed this lad a lot last season with varied results. He's had a nice break now. He's definitely a 3-mile chaser, and the extra 2 furlongs here will play to his strengths. Is it soft enough for him? I think he may just be okay today with it being his first run. Favourite's chance.

A fair bumper horse who caught my eye at the back end of last year. Found life tough earlier this year with some flat runs. All learning on the job. Hurdles debut last month was very pleasing. Battled well and looks quite a nice type moving forward. Step up again here, but he could be well up to it and more.
