Joyeux Machin started this year with two back-of-the-pack G3 runs. In March he got back in handicaps with a C3 win by a whopping 10L, which makes me think he can defy the 5 lb rise on this step up to C2 with Harry Skelton to help out this time.

Bullet Point won at York last summer in a C2 off a 100 and has only had two runs since. Both were a bit down the pack, but they were firstly in a G3 and secondly in the Five Diamonds at Rosehill, Australia, in November. Last year he also returned from a four-month break to win a C2 in April, so can run well when fresh.
