It took Down Around 19 runs before he finally got his first win at Thurles on good ground in November. He won comfortably there by 2 lengths and went close to defying a 7 lbs rise when 4th, beaten just 4 lengths at the Leopardstown Christmas meeting. He was 5th back there on his return from a break, but that was over an inadequate 2 miles back at Leopardstown on 2nd March. Back up to 2m4f on good ground, he looks like a good each-way bet with 4 places on offer.

Jordann looks interesting in this Maiden Hurdle with a first-time hood hopefully helping him settle. He has been well-backed on all three starts but refused to race on debut in a Leopardstown bumper. He was then just 9/2 for a Tipperary bumper but took a keen hold before finishing 6th. He was then sent off as 3rd favorite on hurdles debut but was pulled up behind odds-on favorite Final Demand. Better is obviously expected, and he could be a good each-way bet if the hood has the desired effect.
