There should be very little in it between the top two in the market in this race. Interesting jockey booking, with S. Levey opting for this one over top weight Eupator, whom he has ridden to victory in the past. With that in mind, I can see a big run from my selection after bouncing back to form on only his sixth start for this in-form yard. He could relish the step up in trip on ground that suits, after finishing a short-head 2nd of 11 to Philanthropist at Yarmouth (7f 3yds) on Good to Firm ground in a Class 4 handicap earlier this month, and could be hard to beat left on the same mark.

At first glance I was quite keen on the prospects of 'Oliver Show' at big odds with James Doyle on board for the first time, but he may find it hard to win with such a high draw. This is why I've decided to side with this one who, although quite short in the betting for what looks a very competitive race, looks to have been laid out for this contest and should be a lot sharper for finishing a creditable 4th of 12 to 'Chancellor' at Kempton (7f) in the AWin Class 2 Handicap back in November last year. Arrives Herein in fine form and with talented apprentice Jack Callan taking off a very valuable 5 lb can hopefully go close again after beating The Thames Boatman by 1L at Lingfield (5f 6yds) on the AW in a Class 4 Handicap last month.

Stable won this race last year and hopefully this one can follow up. This is only her third start for this yard after finishing a creditable 4th of 20 to stablemate Apolon De Charnie at Cheltenham (2m 179yds) on good to soft ground in a Grade 1 hurdle event last month. If settling better today, she could reverse the placing with Maestro Conti and Minella Study.
