I have been betting on the horses for over 25yrs+. I love studying the form and trying to work out a handicap puzzle! I do my own research on every tip I post (I am very selective in my picks), as I also bet with my own money. I watch replay after replay, look at endless stats, course & distance winners, speed ratings, % jockey win rates, trainer stats etc etc and try to look for value that the bookies have missed. I also try to look at the ‘extra places’ the bookies offer (as we all know how it feels when an each way pick comes in 4th), you have to look at every angle to try and beat them! This is a wide-open race where 6 of the 7 runners have a shot at winning this. Not often you can say that about a 7-runner race. Anyway, I'm going to go with No Risk With Lou. His performance and time at Huntington last time out was very good. Running from the front, he wasn't for catching even when he made a mess of the last fence. He still had enough to pull away again from the rest. Kielan Woods rides again. If they let him lead, the rest might not be able to catch him. 3 places.

Wisper is a steal at 5/1 in my opinion. Take a look at her last run in a fillies' handicap at Chelmsford and the way she was finishing. The extra distance, I think, will suit. Drops to a mark that is very tempting. She should go well here at Windsor with an interesting booking of Rossa Ryan as well.

He has run well the last three times at Hexham and now comes to Cartmel, where he has run before and was a decent 7th out of 12 runners. He comes here now in better form. Definitely an each-way player.

I'm opting for the Feminine Urge in this one. If you discount the AW run at Wolverhampton and look at the Windsor run, she held on well from the front. I think she is capable of winning a race like this. If she breaks quickly and gets to the front, she'll be hard to pin back.

I think the market has this one right with Penzance being the 2nd favourite. Her run at Epsom would have blown off the cobwebs, and she will strip fitter for that run. This 4-year-old filly should be bang there at the business end of this.

Everything points to a good run in this for Dance In The Storm. She ran well at Lingfield but then weakened extremely quickly and Oisin didn't push her at all in the final stages. Turf debutante, 1st time hood and pedigree all point to a better run this time out. I can't help but think she's been setup for this. 8/1 and 3 places.

I like a few in this but the biggest "value" bet to me is Penna Rossa. What stood out for me is his run at Ffos Las where he lead up until 3f out. This hurdle event today is over 2m, the run at Ffos Las was over 2m 4f, so the drop back in trip could benefit him. He also lost a left fore shoe that day, so he had excuses, even with a good run. 1st time visor could spark improvement and keep him focused. Hence with the price there are risks attached to him, but at 40/1 I think he's worth a little tickle.

Wide open race this and I can 4 out that I like but one that has caught my eye and the odds might be too big is Ballintubber Boy. Before the Ludlow runs he was a good winner at Huntington setting a good time as well whilst doing so. Also if you delve a little deeper into those Ludlow runs they don't actually read that bad as first glance. I think he is priced too big and worth a shot. 10/1

He pulled clear with Cloudy Wednesday who is a course specialist who won again at Market Rasen a few days ago, so that form reads well. Puddlesinthepark ran very well last time but has a 10lb claimer on his back for this race instead of the experienced Adam Wedge. Hopefully he goes well at a decent price.

First 5 in the betting are all strong contenders but I'm edging towards Get The Value in this. He's already gone in twice and although his jumping left a lot to be desired last time out, he's shown enough promise to suggest there is more to come. Upped into a Class 5. He's a course and distance winner. Kielan Woods has been on his back the last twice, winning both at Newton Abbot and Stratford.

Portobello Girl has drifted out in the market a tiny bit this morning to a just backable e/w shot. She did well to win last time out at Stratford, switching and then going up the inside rail and finishing strongly. Also she was a decent 2nd at Uttoxeter. So she obviously had the stamina for this distance. She should be close. 3 places.
