I think Teahupoo will emulate Klassical Dream by winning this race for the 3rd year in a row but I'm going to take a punt on Jetara who was 3rd in the race last year off a mark of 146 . The dual purpose type has dropped to a mark of 137 , she's ran 4 times over hurdles this season with one placed run in Grade 2 at Doncaster but out the frame other 3 & has dropped to today's mark of 137 . She's only mare in the field & is in receipt of 7Lb off the colts & J.Harrington has had 2 winners so far at festival Powerful on day 1 & Quinto De Lago on Wednesday , 50/1 , a small each way & hopefully no non runners with the dead 8 declared .

Was disappointing when pulled up in the Albert Bartlett but went off way too fast & paid for it by being pulled up . Prior to that had won 3 on the spin including Grade 2 & Grade 1 over slightly less trip than today but the Mullins / Townend combination have won last 4 renewals of this race so hopefully the tip can bounce back .

B.Connell v W.Mullins as last year's winning horse & trainer return to regain his crown . Has only had 2 runs this season finishing 2nd on both occasions & arrives here fresh after missing both Cheltenham & Aintree whereas his rivals did run over in UK . Has most probably been laid out for this & dons 1st time cheekpieces & has very good chance if negating the tactics the Mullins quartet will try and impose .

Expensive 750k purchase who's ran ok on both of her runs finishing 4th of 10 at Newmarket over 7f on good to firm last September with C.Appleby's Act Of Kindness just in front of her . She may have needed the run on her seasonal reappearance at Chelmsford over 7f when she finished 4th of 5th but today's extra 1f up to 8f should suit the Kingman filly & E.Walker yard are in form .

Filly out of Pinatubo who had had 3 runs all on the all weather twice here over 9.5f & her last run at Southwell over 12f without failing to trouble the judge . She makes her handicap debut today off a lowly mark of 59 , you don't see many of the Gosden's string run off as lower mark as this so surely open to lots of improvement given her breeding .

Dual purpose 5 year old who when srepped up from 16-20.5f hurdling at Sedgefield & then last 2 runs at Newcastle on good to soft showed improvement on every run so should have no problems getting today's 21f trip & arrives here after a short break race fit . Is running off a nice low mark of 49 & similar to race last year when A.Nicol saddled & C.Hardie ride Quercus Robur to victory in this race .

Arrives here race fit & in form unlike a lot of rivals after winning Irish Lincolnshire at Curragh over 8f back in March . Has ran twice more since finishing 5th at Naas ocer 10.5f & then 12 days ago finishing 2nd again at The Curragh over 10f all 3 runs on a testing surface . Is up into Listed class today & has a lot to find on ratings but race fit & in form should negate some of that & drop back to 8f & good draw from stall 4 should give good run for your money once again .

Finished 3rd in the race last year & if it wasn't for clattering the last would have been far closer . Was running off 163 last year & is off 166 today on the back of a good prep win at Fairyhouse in the Bobbyjo beating Gerri Colombe by 5.5L . Last years winning rider P.Mullins bags the ride for W.Mullins who's won last 2 renewals , slight question marks regarding the fast ground but should be in the mix once again .

Likes it here . Won race back in 2024 & was 2nd last year . Has a mixed bag this year winning Grade 2 , 2nd in Grade 2 & Grade 1 before finishing last of 6 in the Cleeve 77 days ago . Has had wind surgery & wears 1st time tongue tie to get him back on track .

G.Elliott seems to target this race well with winning the last 4 renewals of it . He saddles the highest rated one off a mark of 148 & the tip has had 5 runs this season winning 3 placed once & out of the frame when stepping up for 1st time in trip in the Turners over 21f finishing in midfield . Today's 1f drop back in trip & flatter track should suit far better than Cheltenham .

Was pulled up in Ryanair 28 days ago but likes it here winning novice chase over 20f in 2025 . Only ran twice this season , pulled up at Cheltenham but won Grade 2 at Gowran Park over 19.5f back in February . W.Mullins won race last year with gold cup winner Gaelic Maestro , question marks about the trip for the tip but trust the trainer has found the right race .

The Irish have won last 3 renewals of this race & trainer H.De Bromhead does well with his novice chasers from 16-20f . Has plenty to find on ratings with odds on favourite Lulamba & should benefit from drop in trip after finishing 6th in Brown Advisory 29 days ago but drop in trip from 25f to today's 20f should see a far more competitive run .
