Has only ran twice this season finishing a decent 4th in class 2 at Cheltenham over 24f on good in October & then at Leicester was 2nd over 20.5f on soft to heavy beaten 5L 59 days ago . He's on a very workable mark of 114 for an in form yard , should appreciate the trip & good to soft going & 6 year olds have won 4 of the last 5 renewals of this race .

Lightly raced 8 yr old who's only ran 8 times under rules winning once & being placed three times . Has only ran twice over fences both this season finishing 3rd over 19.5f in November & then 33 days ago when staying on well at Doncaster ended up falling late on so with some more schooling & being on a decent lowish mark has good chance with better round of jumping .

French bred who will enjoy the soft / heavy conditions after the long trip from the Pipe yard up to Ayr & has shown promise finishing 2nd in a bumper & also last time out in maiden hurdle both over 16f sandwiched in between was 5th at Cheltenham over 16.5f all runs on quicker ground than would like so could be a shrewd placement from the Pipe team .

The next 2 runs were in bumpers both over 16f finishing 3rd at Galway on good to yielding & then winning at Tramore on soft . Last run 28 days ago was back hurdling again at Naas over 19f on soft when finishing a very creditable 5th of 20 & is a lively each way outsider in this race .

Interesting type who started her rules debut in a maiden hurdle finishing 2nd of 10 only beaten 0.75L & then reverted into bumper races on her next 2 runs both over 16f finishing 3rd at Galway & then winning at Tramore . She then 26 days ago returned to hurdling at Naas over 19f on soft to heavy ground running ok to finish 5th of 20 not really enjoying the ground so a return to a faster surface & 1f drop in trip today at a course where she's ran well previously are all positives .

The tip is 3 from 3 this season , is ground versatile as well as trip winning from 16-20.5f including a Group 3 over 16f 53 days ago & may well have been laid out for this race .

H.De Bromheads yard won this race in 2021 & yard is 6 winners from just 10 saddled this season , the tip is his only runner on the card , the mare is in receipt of her sex weight allowance & 6 year olds have won the last 3 renewals , lots of stats boxes ticked .

All 3 previous runs 1 on turf & 2 on all weather last being 18 days ago have been at 7f so steps up an extra 1.5f today for the in form E.Walker yard who have 29% win strike rate over last month . Is running off a mark of 80 today after being pulled up 3 out on seasonal debut & could be in with a shout if can capture some of old form .

She had an unbeaten record in France winning 3 on the bounce over 12 & 13f all on very testing ground which she gets & will relish today .

Always look for the French trained horses in these Cross Country races & D.Cottin sends 2 over , I'm going to side with Iceo Madrik who's only had 2 runs this season , a 2nd on seasonal debut & won over 27f last run but was disqualified . This run will most probably be a feeler run for the festival to see how both horses get on , place claims hopefully at double figure odds .
