Won Champion Stakes here over CD on soft last October at a massive 40/1 sp 1 of 2 Group 1 wins other being Prix D' Isaphan over 9f on good year previous . Horse is ground versatile with wins on very soft at Longchamp to good to firm at Haydock . Was 2nd on seasonal reappearance at Curragh over 10.5f 24 days ago & should come on for that run albeit the worrying stat is that 4 year olds have good record in this race .

With 3 A.P.O'Brien horses in this smallish field race is bound to be tactical but the draw from stall 5 & not being hemmed in on the fence is already a bonus for the Irish 2000 Guineas winner who in hindsight should have won the English equivalent as well , worthy favourite & the one to beat .
