Liverpool will make a fair few changes here after playing in midweek. They eased past Spurs to reach the final of the League Cup, so confidence is high. Plymouth have shown signs of improvement recently, and at home, I can see them scoring. They will have a tough job, though, keeping this Liverpool side from outscoring them, especially if Liverpool calls the big guns out.

Both teams could make a few changes here, which could lead to a more open encounter. Wolves will likely still be a threat, but this isn't an easy place to visit, and Blackburn have had some decent results here recently. They will be well up for this. I can see them scoring as wolves usually conceded which is more likely with changes made and that could lead to a close game.

I can see them scoring here, but also it'll be a big ask keeping Newcastle at bay.

Leyton Orient will give it a good go here at home, but they will be without a few players through injury. Man City should be good enough to win this by 3 goals. City will be wanting to put their Emirates nightmare behind them, and although they will make changes, they should still put a strong team out. Elfsborg are not usually a side to get thrashed often, and they've beaten Roma in this competition so far. They scored 3, giving Galatasaray a tough night. They have shown they are capable of giving this Spurs side problems. Spurs are hard to predict, although goals are likely when they play. Unfortunately for them, it's goals all around, and the majority of the time they end up on the wrong end of the result. They know a win is needed here, but not an absolute must, which may not help them mentally. The visitors will be well up for this, and if scoring, which I think they will, it could end up close.

It's hard to see Man Utd winning against anyone at the moment. They have been poor and won't be expecting much from Rangers. If they do underestimate the Scottish side, then they could be in trouble. Rangers have had some decent results in this comp, and they are more than capable of coming here, scoring, and getting a good result. Man Utd can't do much right at the moment. Diallo is the only bright spark attacking-wise, but he can't carry them every game. Man Utd put in better performances against Liverpool and Arsenal, but it's unclear how they'll deal with bottom-of-the-league Southampton. They tend to do this sort of thing, and they've been doing it for some time: get good results when they are down and struggling, and lose or draw against lesser teams. They have at least got a more settled side, although there could be one or two changes at the back for this one. They were better defensively the last couple of games, but if they underestimate Southampton, they could well concede. The league's bottom side is certainly struggling and looks like they've given up, but I can see them coming here and causing some problems.
