Was in good form earlier last year, winning twice and placing 3 times. Struggled to get involved later in the year, had wind surgery though and returns from an absence last time out when 5th, showing signs of a return to form. Will be fitter for that outing and could be thereabouts at big odds.

Won 4 times last year, 3 of which were over today's distance. Looked back on track last time out when 3rd, leading 2 out over 1m 2f but headed close home. Drop in trip will suit here and will be better for that outing last time out.

Man City and arsenal will be fancied to fight it put again but they are both short odds as you'd expect. Looking at better value I think Liverpool could be worth a shot. They have managed to keep their key men so far and with a couple of signings possibly coming in, they look good. The new manager seems and sounds good and the players/fans will no doubt take to him. They've had a good pre season and with expectations on them lower, they could have a really good season.
