The market indicates a wide-open handicap, and that bodes well for this horse. Representing top connections, it's far too soon to write this one off even though she has been a bit disappointing recently. Must be able to win in this grade, especially stepped up to 7f, which I believe will suit. Interesting jockey booking as he gets his share of winners for this yard.

A massive price as although he showed little last time, that was heavy ground and he went reasonably well on his reappearance. He races off just 60 here and the jockey takes off a huge 10 lbs. A long shot certainly, but still relatively unexposed on this surface, and he had useful all-weather form in the UK. Has been rated 90s before, so must be worth a look, especially coming from a very useful Irish yard.

Racing off this mark today and up to 7f is really interesting at these odds. Has a fine record at Lingfield and with this jockey, so looks a live ew betting opportunity at these odds.

Has some previous good form at this time of year, and with the yard now in top form, must have a real chance receiving weight all round. The trainer also owns the horse, so will be keen to see some return on his investment.

Unity would not be out of this on these terms if returning to the form of his first three races, which were better than the bare form suggests considering the quality of the opposition. The problem is, of course, his last race blowout, but if he can get back to his best today, he would have real place claims receiving this much weight and ridden by the same apprentice. Worth an each-way shot at 100/1.

This horse has some fine form at Goodwood and should be sharp enough today after a good reappearance after a long layoff. Lightly raced since joining this yard and not overly raced considering he is a 10-year-old now. In-form jockey booking is interesting too, so he can go well here at a big price with conditions to suit.

Very disappointing last two starts,but too soon to right this horse off coming from this top stable. Gets the 3yo wfa and Rossa Ryan rides back at leicester where this horse has won before. Was in winning form this time last year and the return here today and drop in distance may reignite this horse.

I was impressed with the way this horse quickened up to win his Arc trial, having had problems obtaining a clear passage. His trainer spoke very positively of him after that race, and with William Buick on board again and further improvement likely over this 12f distance, he looks to me to be a leading contender, with a reasonable draw and winning course form too.
