Very effective here and not beaten a million miles when 3rd of six over a shorter trip here last time out. C/D winner on firmish ground but equally effective on soft and does like a hill finish as other wins, both on soft, were at Pontefract and Beverley.

Turf debut came on poor ground and then switched to Wolverhampton winning on swcond run there after a head 2nd on first outing . Brings that back to turf and gets at least 9lb form older horses which isnt bad considering Crepe Suzzette is jiont top rated on officail ratings and 3yo,s have the upper hand .

Think Palladium could surprise in this as Hamish is 9 years old now and took a couple to get going last season. Palladium, though, is interesting and a lot of faith somewhere as easy poor ground Huntington hurdle winner for Nicky Henderson and sent to John Gosden, which speaks volumes.
