Certainly not one for the mortgage, but she looks way overpriced on the best of her form when with Tim Easterby. She twice made the frame at Southwell in October off today's mark, and she went well for a long way (probably too well) before running out of steam. She has worn cheekpieces on both runs for her current handler and has a tongue tie added to the mix today. Any positive benefit from the new headgear combination could see her in with a chance of shedding her maiden tag at the eighteenth time of asking.

Connections of Dartrey obviously knew they had a well-handicapped horse on their hands when he was a well-backed winner on handicap debut over six furlongs here five days ago. An extra six pounds didn't stop him going in again two days later over seven furlongs, and he could be up to defying another six-pound penalty, dropping back to six furlongs, and he's long odds on to do so. At the odds available, however, I'm more inclined to take a chance on handicap debutante She's Divine, who has finished runner-up in all three outings to date and could give the favourite plenty to think about.
