Showed only the barest glimpses of ability in bumpers and maiden hurdle races. Proved a different proposition on handicap debut at Naas last time, however, making good headway late on to finish fourth. The extra three furlongs today could suit, and at near double-figure odds the mare should prove to be a profitable each-way betting proposition.

A more than satisfactory spin on the all-weather at Southwell will have blown away any cobwebs. Should the aforementioned hypothesis prove correct, there's every chance he can run a better race than his huge odds might suggest.

Trainer has her string in fine form and Knock Off Soxs can make it four wins from the last seven runners for the stable. The lightly raced gelding had already notched a win while qualifying for a mark, and produced a career-best on handicap debut at Exeter eighteen days ago. He has been eased a pound for that excellent effort, and with improvement highly likely given he has been lightly raced, he looks the one to beat in a cracking little handicap.
