Connections of Dartrey obviously knew they had a well-handicapped horse on their hands when he was a well-backed winner on handicap debut over six furlongs here five days ago. An extra six pounds didn't stop him going in again two days later over seven furlongs, and he could be up to defying another six-pound penalty, dropping back to six furlongs, and he's long odds on to do so. At the odds available, however, I'm more inclined to take a chance on handicap debutante She's Divine, who has finished runner-up in all three outings to date and could give the favourite plenty to think about.
