I am also in favor of Palace Pier progenies, and Morris Dancer can be a big player here from the Gosden team. Morris Dancer came from off the pace to win at Haydock a couple of months ago. With the boys in blue, Godolphin, missing Royal Ascot and giving the colt time to come to himself, he can be a big player here. Laureate Crown is also a danger, but drawn in stall one, Luke Morris will be praying for room to come from behind. Goodwood can be hard at times to achieve this, with room being at a premium.

Tony Montana was third in this race last year and was outpaced at a vital point of the race before staying on. The Kingman gelding, who is five years of age, is better drawn this time around. Admittedly, the first four home were all from double-figure stalls. Take Heart, from eighteen, who is in the race again but not in the same form or with the same trainer now, won the race. Second was Enfjaar, drawn in stall 13, who was the favorite that day. Third was Tony Montana in stall 12, and Max Mayhem was in stall 11. With good ground, which is expected on the first day of Glorious Goodwood, hopefully, Michael Bell and jockey David Egan will be collecting.

Being sired by Belardo, everything looks favourable for the bay gelding to show a progressive attitude and follow up his win with another for trainer Andrew Slattery who has Sam Coen in the plate taking off seven pounds.

If they show signs of slackness in defending, Spain will punish them for sure. Giving them an inch, they take a yard, meaning that England could be chasing the game and losing. England needs to put pressure on Spain by attacking and keeping them on the back foot. Stopping their passing game will be hard, but England's ball passing can be crème de la crème. That can prise the Spanish defense open for Rossa to score. If doing this twice, all well and good, as I do expect Spain to score, but hopefully with England in full control.
