This is Golden Flame's first visit to Southwell and could be making it a profitable one, with Robert Havlin riding for trainer/owner Thomas Faulkner, who has brought two horses to the meeting with one already ran who was sixth and Golden Flame. Golden Flame raced in Group company a few years back plus raced in better quality handicaps than this. He is racing in his second class five handicap, which sees him racing off 68, an all-time low rating, which might see him being competitive. Thomas Faulkner is a trainer that I really know, but he has traveled some 157 miles to be here and might be seeing the trip here paying off with a big run appearing from Golden Flame, who in the past was trained by Mark Johnston before Charlie, his son, took over the reins. Golden Flame left this yard for Deborah Faulkner in May of last year, then changed hands to the present name and raced five times with a second appearing amongst them at Newcastle. He might be seeing this son of Golden Horn expressing himself well tonight.

Birmingham are sixteen points clear of Wrexham, and the champions of League One can visit Blackpool and put their own lights on to display their ability to win and score goals that are required for all three points. There is the possibility of striker Stansford trying to be the top scorer of the division, which he is two goals down on Kerman of Leyton Orient. Scoring here tonight can see him drawing closer or equalling him. If scoring a hat trick, he can go one up. Birmingham can lead the way and win both halves with over 2.5 goals scored along with the Tangerines, to make the game look a lot closer than it is.

He carried 10-7 that day; this afternoon he has 10-13 on his back. Ben Harvey was in the saddle in 2023, taking off five pounds. Alex Harvey comes in for the ride, and his allowance of five pounds will help greatly. He was on the old boy at Cheltenham when unplaced. John McConnell will have him cherry ripe for this race and hopefully can steal a lead that he cannot be caught with. Alex Harvey getting the fractions right with front running sees the twelve-year-old still has substance left in him after the run. What a race to savour, and trainer James Joseph O'Brien saddles two of the four in the field, with the other being Banbridge. Henry de Bromfield saddles Monty's Star, who I would not write off. The outsider of four can win races with this number of runners. Spillages Tower arrives here fresh, and Mark Walsh can have him into a good stride that can make him a competitive player with stamina to burn, plus a turn of foot that can be brought out on this quicker ground.

Burton Albion need to achieve a home win over Wigan as their last game at Charlton will be tough for them to get anything from The Valley. All three points would see them move to 49 points and safe from relegation as the bottom four have one game to come. If they lose, then Crawley and Notts County will be threatening to put themselves into staying in the league if they win, but it depends on goal difference with those two plus Burton, who will all be on 46 points. The Cherries can be making the Vitality Stadium their own with a win over Manchester United, who are ravaged by injuries with seven. With them struggling to play two games alike, they may be losing this game just like when at home to Bournemouth earlier in the season, going down 2-0. They might be able to contribute to the goal count that sees three goals on show with Bournemouth winning 2-1.
14:00 Stevenage v Rotherham

Rotherham

What swings this match to an away win is the goals that Rotherham have accumulated and conceded, being 51-57 compared to Stevenage's 40-48. Rotherham have the capability to score goals but are very vulnerable to conceding. They may score more today than they concede, with striker Sam Nombe popping up with the winner. This sees Rotherham move above Exeter in the league, with Peterborough at home next week, hoping to achieve a higher league position that can increase bonus rewards.

This League One game with middle positions and on equal points of fifty-five could be a lively game with goals being scored and the greater amount heading Rotherham's way and moving up the league a place.

All action, with goals being scored to keep fans on the edge of their seats. With at least three goals appearing or even more, that sees visitors Rotherham obtaining all three points and moving to fifty-eight points with one game remaining to play.

This is the fifth remaining match of the Serie A, and Como have won their last three games. This has seen them move above Genoa in the middle of the league with a better goal difference, both being on thirty-nine points each. A home win looks plausible, which can see them try to gain a higher league position and better bonus awards. They are playing confident football and can find Genoa's weakness and work this into their favor for a result that may see them winning without conceding.

Both clubs sit in the middle of the league and on thirty-nine points apiece, but with Como having the better goal difference. Como have won their last two games without conceding, and this trend could continue with a two-goal victory and a chance of moving up another place in the league.

Como have gone two games without conceding. Goalkeeper Jean Butez will be aiming to add another ninety minutes with a clean sheet, appearing once more and seeing his side stride on to victory. This would make it four straight wins with four games to come, hoping for a higher league position plus a better bonus for the club.

Feirense have won their last two games, which sees them in a better light than their opponents, who are third from bottom and trying to survive the league. When Porto B have played Feirense in the past, both home and away, it has resulted in draws. This could be the third, with both Portuguese sides canceling each other's play out.

With Porto B needing vital points to survive in the league, a point here would help their cause, keeping themselves in touch with the teams above them. The game may not be shedding goals, with the possibility of a 0-0 result.

Both of these Portugal teams have not been riveting in their play, which sees Feirense in the middle of the league and Porto B third from bottom and in the drop zone. A point or even three would be rewarding towards safety, but with the last two encounters being 0-0 and 1-1, a third game resulting in a draw could be on, with the possibility of a second goalless game between them.

Gornik Leczna arrive at this away game in formidable form, having won their last five games. This sees them in seventh place, four points off a playoff position, with four games remaining after this match. They are playing with confidence, which could see them achieving a winning result here against Odra Opole. Odra Opole won last week after losing their previous four games. They beat the team above them in the league at home 3-0, but could be found out playing Gornik Leczna, who are in winning mode and aiming for a promotion playoff.

Polish matches can be seen with plenty of under rather than over with goals, with finishing being not of good quality. This game today with Gornik Leczna pushing for a playoff can obtain the goals for all three points but not without conceding.

When a side hits the top note with winning and continues the trend to five, players grow in confidence. With possession and finishing being forthwith, that can see an away win resulting in an away win that sees three goals and Gornik Leczna winning 2-1.
