Mexico can be heading the group by beating South Africa in the opening game on Thursday night. I see them winning 2-1. This would indicate to the Czech Republic and South Korea that they are on the ball and mean business, and should not be underestimated. That could see them winning Group A.

Uruguay can be putting the play together, justifying their short odds with a squad of players that can stay in shape even when they use their subs. They are tactically minded, moving the ball from the back and advancing with one-touch football. That can lead to springing the defense of Saudi Arabia and winning this match, with the possibility of two goals being scored inside Hard Rock Stadium, Miami Gardens, Florida.

Uruguay & No (Result + BTTS)

Uruguay may be keeping Saudi Arabia quiet by not threatening to score. If chances do become alive, it would not be a surprise if a foul is committed and a yellow card is shown, as Uruguay players can be hot-headed at times. However, Uruguay can be sending out signals that they are worth watching, winning this game 2-0. That may see Rodrigo Aguirre either scoring or assisting, with Real Madrid midfielder Federico Valverde pulling the strings for a 2-0 result for them.

Lumen Field, Seattle is the venue and Belgium will need to be switched on to keep Egypt at bay. Egypt can produce football that puts Belgium under pressure with players like Omar Marmoush, who plays for Forest, and Trezeguet, who plays for Al Ahly; he can be active in midfield. Expect Belgium to win. Kevin De Bruyne, who plays his football in England for Manchester City, can be the driving force from midfield. Jeremy Doku can be dazzling, as he has been for Manchester City, and Leandro Trossard can be dangerous down the wing. 18:00 GIF Sundsvall v Osters IF

Östers have beaten Sundsvall the last four times and they have won their last three games. With Sundsvall being in bottom spot, they need to raise their game, which they did by winning 1-0 last week over Örebro. This is the first encounter between these two nations. Germany have gone nine straight wins on the bounce, conceding in just four. Curaçao have the difficult job of trying to beat Germany in Group E, who are favourites to win this group. The other two countries involved are Ecuador and Ivory Coast. Curaçao could find themselves outplayed, with Germany applying their patient possession football and waiting for gaps to appear. Kai Havertz is just a goal poacher. He is able to make a play from the halfway line or shoot from outside the penalty box, which can result in goals.
