His form dropped after, and he hasn't won since, including for this stable, until he dropped to 16f again over hurdles following a good 2nd over this C/D. This one was in contention when making a mistake and dropping back on chase debut over 23.5f and was quite poor back over hurdles last time over 22.7f. He won on bumper debut over 16f and also on handicap debut over 17.2f but hasn't been the same over longer trips. This is only his 2nd chase start, but the drop back to 16.5f off only 2lb more than last win looks a good move and well worth the NAP to regain the winning thread.

This one hasn't shown a lot for this stable so far in the first 3 hurdle races around 15.8f but now goes into a handicap up in trip. The stable is going great guns and horses usually improve a good deal for the switch, so a chance is taken for improvement and a first win.

This one didn't show much in 4 hurdles and 1 chase in France and not much better in 4 hurdles since joining this yard. After switching to chasing again after 10 months off, she left all that form well behind, finishing 2nd on seasonal now followed by 2 wins in slightly better going. Back on soft at quirky Ffos Las, she was well beaten, but I always give horses the benefit of the doubt at that course. Up in trip and grade off the same mark is worth chancing again on better going.

This could be a pre-order to chasing after 9 months off, but given his hurdle form, cannot be discounted.

I have been let down so often by a short-priced favorite from Nick Henderson in the first race at the main meeting that I would rather take the E/W. Hence, on an improving horse despite the favorite looking good. This one won his final flat race in Ireland up to 14.5f for the first time and made a winning hurdle debut over 16.5f for his new yard. She is going well, and he drops slightly in trip, only up 1 grade. With improvement likely, he could get involved in the finish.
