This one was a fair bumper/hurdler for Gordon Elliott in Ireland, winning a hurdle on 8th time of trying over 16f. But for being hampered and unseating the rider on the flat after the last, he would have followed up over 19f. He joined this stable just after, and his best run came over 16.5f here on debut, but his form after declined. He takes a marked step up in trip here. This shrewd trainer has often improved horses when doing so, but he probably won't want any rain. Worth an each-way at 33/1 off a low of 88 but 8 runners would have been better.
