This one was second to Jeteye over C/D last time, which was his first time over this trip. He was only beaten by 3L then and goes up 1lb for that effort, but Jeteye has since flopped twice off 5lb higher, so he drops 1lb. There are 2 interesting runners in this race, this one being the first. He won in Franken her 10f on heavy on his 2nd ever run but hasn't won since over 8f plus. He has returned to form of late finishing 2nd last 3 races, over 8-10 and 12f, beaten only 3/4L off this mark last time. Drops to 7f for the first time with a good ex hurdle jockey, turned to flat nowadays taking the ride and with no problem on the going could revive for a first British win, if the trip suits.

Both the trainer and he jockey are among the winners and perhaps combined this one could give them another. She was in good form over this trip winning over C/D off 70 on G/Fm following 3seconds and was 2nd again on G/S followed by another win in good off 75. Last 2 runs were poor but could be forgiven up into listed company here and then off 85 over 12f so the return 10f dropped in grade could see a revival and another win. David Probert looks an interesting booing for this stable.

The one that appeals most in this is Persian Spirit who won narrowly on soft on debut over 6f and although she has stamina in her pedigree the winning time was faster than that of Bob Mali who has won first 2. Both are raised in grade so this is harder but this one is up from class 4 to class 2 Bob Mali is up from class 5 to class 2 and this one could prove best.

If taking to chasing this one could be hard to beat. His only run here was on bumper debut when 2nd on soft going and after winning 3big first 4 hurdles on G/S heavy going was running in top class races winning twice at Cheltenham Inc the grade 2 Unibet in Dec 2021 his last win. Raced mainly on G/S or slower since and was absent from Apr 2022 to Jan 2022 and hasn't been as good on return in 4 races but has dropped to a mark 15lb last than last win on faster going on chase debut dropped to class 3 which all points to a better hopefully winning run of taking to fences and worth the NAP to do so.
