This match, however, could give Peterborough a welcome ease in the division with what looks like an unlikely win. Their previous record stands at 9-9 with 6 draws, but they seem to be turning their earlier poor form around and are starting to get some good results in all competitions. They have won 7 of their last 10 matches, including a 1-0 win at home to Cardiff. On current form and playing at home, I have gone for the upset win.

This one was a 3-time winner in France on soft and heavy going just short of 19f. Although he was well beaten over 19f on soft on his British debut, he made no mistake over 16f last time back on soft going under this jockey. He runs off the same mark but carries a 7lb penalty, which might not stop the follow-up win and the jockey's second-ever winner going 2 for 2 on him.

It will be interesting to see how Gwennie May Star goes over this trip for the first time on debut for Ollie Murphy. First time going this far tempers enthusiasm, so the one that appeals most is this one who is a 3-time winner over 17.6f, 20f, both narrowly, but under this jockey last time over 23f won by 15L on 3rd try. Steps up again in trip with no worries on going and is napped to follow up. He was heavily eased there, so the 11lb rise might not be a problem if the trip suits.

This one has mainly races on good going, winning a bumper and a hurdle in Ireland. He had mixed form there, and the first 10 races in Britain were average. But since racing on G/S to heavy here, his form has improved, winning over C/D on his second try over the trip. Not beaten far on return over 26.8f at Newton Abbot on G/S, and back here on favoured going and trip should go well.

This one has mixed form, and a poor run last time has to be forgiven, but it was his first time on good going. This one was quite a consistent hurdler up to 20.5f, winning twice. Raced mainly on good going, but the second of her back-to-back wins was on G/S, so would not want any more rain. She drops 1lb for this but was last of 3 on chase debut but made mistakes. I think that she is better than that, and with mistakes kept to a minimum, is tipped to return to form.
