He was beaten (½ length) by the re-opposing Solness on his seasonal debut over C&D (yielding, good to yielding in places) last time out. However, having almost lost company with the rider at the second fence, that was an admirable effort. Majborough was a further 2¾ lengths back in third that day, and Found A Fifty was a distant fourth (20¾ lengths). The significant difference today is the ground.
