A lightly raced 4yo gelding (7 starts overall) that got off the mark 4 starts back when winning a 7k euro maiden (Ireland) over 7f on soft ground carrying 9st 8lb. Its last start on turf didn't fare too badly over 7f in a class 5 on the AW at Kempton LTO when beaten less than 3L in a class 5 carrying 9st 9lb. Carries its lowest weight so far of 8st 10lb, which may well see it follow up that last turf win despite this being its toughest race so far.

It could be worth taking a chance on big outsider Beachborough Girl, who has a good pedigree. This 3yo filly is by New Bay with a dam sired by Dark Angel. She has yet to show anything in 4 races so far, but it drops down to class 6 for the first time. First-time-up jockey Jason Watson has a 35% strike rate at this course with 3yo's. The trainer has had some recent winners, and it's worth a speculative punt on her runner today.
