Very strong stayer who looks the ideal type of horse for this race. Placed at the Festival last year in a handicap hurdle, so the course suits him fine. Fairly unique test for inexperienced chasers, so his staying prowess should stand him in good stead.

Looked to be tenderly ridden when 2nd at Cheltenham earlier in the season (could say that about a lot of these horses' previous runs), then showed a good bit of improvement last time out. Kennedy has jumped ship from Elliott's horses in here, and that could be significant.

DRF form has a strong look about it, and he got an educational ride that day to pick them up. He was previously going to win a Grade 1 at Christmas, so he's a little unfortunate not to have two Grade 1s under his belt, but he's still the only Grade 1 winner in the field.

Looks a weak race. Improver over fences lately (was going to win off 106 last time out but fell), so back over hurdles off 99 looks a workable mark. Placed off hurdles a few runs back off 100. Previously won off 94. Add in the fact that all those runs were under Sean O'Keefe, and they have got an excellent 5 lb claimer in Eion Staples on his back today, and I feel he'll take a lot of stopping.
