Tottenham (18th) have now slipped into the bottom three, and games are running out for them to turn their season around. They have won just two home league games all season, and their current winless run, home or away, stretches to fourteen matches, losing seven of the last eight. Brighton (9th) are quietly effective. They have won their last three on the road and are unbeaten against the bottom eight away from home, winning twice and drawing three.

Stevenage (6th) were on a good four-game unbeaten run with three wins until a 5-1 thumping at third-placed Bolton last time. They have won their last three at home, but all were against teams 10th and worse. Leaders Lincoln are already promoted and can seal the league title here. They are eleven games unbeaten on the road, with eight wins in that run. They have not lost all season, home or away, against teams in the top ten, which is an impressive stat.

Only two previous Masters appearances, but he took to Augusta like a duck to water with a runner-up finish on debut in 2024 and then 7th last year. He couldn't arrive in much better form this time around, with consecutive top-5 finishes in his last three events, including The Players Championship (T5). The last two Players Championship winners have gone on to Masters glory in the same season. Birdies have been the key in recent Masters, and Ludvig sits 6th in the PGA Tour stats for Birdie Or Better % this season.

Very solid player and probably at his peak heading into the event, having won the Valspar Championship last time out, which followed a runner-up finish in the Players Championship. Has plenty of experience at Augusta now, as this will be his 12th appearance. His best was a T7 in 2016, and his only missed cut came on his debut in 2014. He sits 8th for Birdie or Better % on the PGA this season, and his Around the Green stats in recent tournaments suggest he's set up nicely to contend this week.

Ranked 25th in the world, he sneaks into the profile of recent Masters winners and is in great form this year, having posted three top-6 finishes in his last five events. He made his Masters debut in 2022 with a T14 finish (his best here). He has just one missed cut in four appearances and has the necessary Augusta experience to contend now. This season's Driving Distance, Around the Green, and Strokes Gained-Tee to Green stats should see him in the mix this year.

Sits 5th (68.29 strokes) in the First Round Scoring Average stats on the PGA Tour this season. Couple that with his Birdie-or-Better % (2nd) ranking and recent good form of three top-six finishes in his last five events, and he could get off to a flyer. This will be his fifth Masters appearance, so he has plenty of experience now and arrives in his best form.

Shrewsbury (18th) have lost five of their last six league games. The only victory (1-0) in that run came against 21st-placed Tranmere. Two of their home defeats in that spell were against Walsall (12th) and Cheltenham (19th), who are below today's opponents. Oldham (9th) have only lost once in their last thirteen league games, which came against 8th-placed Crewe. They have won three of their last four on the road and are unbeaten away from home against teams in the bottom eight, winning four and drawing one.

Preston have seen four of their last five league games go over 2.5 goals, and three of their last four at home. QPR have won their last three league games, and all have finished with at least three goals and both teams scoring. Three of their last four on the road have finished over 2.5 goals.
